Dockweiler, a heartbreak love story, paints a picture of two individuals grieving the loss of someone dear to them. The story is told by a myriad of flashbacks cut to from the duo sitting on the beach with said loved one’s urn.
We are in the midst of production, and we have completed our work in New York. We still have a bit of principal photography left to capture. We are planning for a couple of shoot dates in Los Angeles to finish up before we dive into post-production.
Two-thirds of our cast and our director are New York-based. This means we need travel and lodging accommodations. (Potentially an Airbnb situation where we could shoot our last interior location, and use it as a film base camp)
We are hoping to continue doing this project as cheaply as possible. Calling in favors and keeping our crew small and agile!
It is happening! Sometimes you have to run before you can walk. And that's exactly what we did with this project!
But in order to keep running sometimes we need a little help. That is why we are calling on you. We have been scrappy and called in favor after favor. Now we need your help to make it to the finish line... because shooting the movie is only a small part of the process!
