Dollys

We're a four-piece band from New Brunswick, NJ, and we're releasing our first full-length album.  Our band formed a year and a half ago, and since then we've released a vinyl EP, two singles, and two music videos all of which are free to check out online.

We've been hard at work writing, arranging, and recording the songs for our next release. "Oh Please!" is our first full-length album inspired by our favorite records of the sixties and seventies. The tracking was done entirely to analog tape without the help of computers, editing, or pitch correction. The songs have gone through many stages since making their way onto our tape reel, and we're excited for how they sound.

Our goal

Before we can share the album with you all, the album needs to be mastered and pressed to vinyl. The process is pricey, and we don't have the money to front the cost this time. With this campaign, we're taking pre-orders for the record as well as offering many other perks to raise the funds so that we can release our album as soon as possible.

Our goal is 4500 dollars:

-1000 for mastering the tape and cutting it to lacquer
-3000 for pressing to colored vinyl
-the remainder (minus fees) for promotion, the record release show, and the private listening party

If we're successful...

4. We'll confirm a date for our release show and send out invitations for the listening party.
5. We will get the record mastered, pressed, and shipped out as soon as possible.
6. Download codes will be emailed out one week before the release.
7. We will begin planning tours to support the release this fall.
8. We will order a pizza.
