This is Easybulb Plus. It allows you to control your home or office lighting using your mobile device and computer via WIFI. It puts the power of your lights in the palm of your hand. Choose from any colour including white light to other colours using the colour wheel on the mobile app. Set the lights to match your mood, control individual lights or groups of lights, use the timer function and night sleep mode to tell your lights to dim gradually within a certain time. Easybulb Plus is energy-saving too so it's earth-friendly.

The ultimate control that you get of your home devices is priceless and gives you a peace of mind that you can only get when you experience the power in your hands. You can adjust the timing mechanism via your iPhone or Android device while thousands of miles away. Change the lighting in your home to go on or off. Make neighbours and potential intruders think someone is home when you are away on vacation. Also, use EasyBulb to set timers to come on and off at specific times. Talk to your lights

We are truly in the day of when machines talk to each other, our machines talk to us.. and we talk back to them. It's almost like a real relationship. All you need is a translator. Using only your voice, you can use voice commands and your iPhone or smart device (iOS or Android) to tell your lights what to do. Give it voice commands like "Easybulb Blue" and the voice recognition technology will turn your lights to blue and many other functions are readily available at the sound of your voice.You can use the talk to light option to:

• Pick different colours 
• Control the brightness of your lights

Set Individual Timer

The timer option allows you to control how long lights stay on, and lets you set a time to go off at a certain time. This feature is a great tool whether you are at home or away. No more plugging in analogue timers to AC outlets and controlling setting manually. It's all done quickly and easily with the mobile app.

Control a single light or a group

You can choose whether to control an individual light or groups of lights. Using the latest technology, EasyBulb Plus allows for seamless automation of light planning for public businesses too, including Restaurants, Pubs, Shops, Offices, DJs, Hospitals, and much more.

Your light knows when you get home and when you leave

Proximity control allows you to tell your lights when you are coming into the house by the use of a sensitive notification feature. They can be programmed to turn on when you are at home and switch off when leaving the house. The app controls this process which can be automated once set up.

Sync your itunes and other music

The music sync feature is designed to create a connection between your music collection and your lights. You can use your iTunes collection to sync in time with the lights, and even integrate your other mp3 collections or use a live music source simply by holding it up to the speaker. This fascinating technology allows seamless integration between your music and lights. This feature would be great for a roving DJ or for parties.

Call and message notification

Get phone call alerts and SMS notification using Easybulb Plus calls and SMS light notification features. Your lights indicate you have a call or SMS message by blinking green and white.

You can set this up by a touch of a button on the App. You do not have to enable this feature if you do not want to, but it's nice to know your lights can be your virtual secretary to remind you of your messages or phone calls in case you forget to check them. Kind of like the proverbial "library blinking lights of our youth" which were a noninvasive quiet way of reminding us to "make our final selections and check out."

Memory Function

The Easybulb Plus has a memory function which is designed to resume previous settings in the case of when you switch the light off from the wall switch or in the case of a power loss. So your lights stay the way you left them when the power comes back on.

Easybulb Plus will save you money

EasyBulb Plus was designed with conservation in mind so it is energy-efficient and earth-friendly. It uses a 9 watt LED bulb and 5 watt GU10 spotlights. The unit has a lifespan of around 50,000 hours, which is equivalent to 25 years of average use. EasyBulb Plus also comes free of any harmful chemicals such as mercury and other substances so you know the light that is emanating is not harming you, your family, or the earth. It is environment-friendly and features an efficient "dimming" feature which allows you to increase your savings the more you use it - So You Save as you dim. When compared to standard 60-100W bulbs, the 9W outshines and outlasts them with much less power output.

Easybulb Plus API brings out the developer in everyone, allowing you to use various other devices to perform various functions through the system. Use devices such as ZWAVE, Ninja Blocks, and many others to communicate with the system and even program your own app to do what you want. It allows you to do things like:

Operate Easybulb Plus from a computer and send commands to the bulbs online. Turn off lights based on a schedule which you decide. Program it to notify you when you receive an email. Use a microphone with such devices as the Raspberry Pi and issue voice commands. Create "events" which the lights respond to when something happens.

As you can see, EasyBulb allows you to do more than just have home automation. It releases the "programmer" in you to go beyond what it can already do to practically limitless possibilities.

Types of Easybulb Plus LED Bulbs

There are two main kinds of Easybulb Plus LED bulbs:

Easybulb Plus RGBW: The RGBW bulbs will give you all of the colours of the rainbow and more, including pure white. The colour bulbs are available in B22, E27, and GU10 spotlight forms.

Easybulb Plus White: This kind of bulb puts out only white lights. It can be changed from cool to warm white to match your preferences. We have designed it to allow the maximum use of the white LED bulbs to produce a bright white light. Also available in B22, E27, and GU10 spotlight forms.

Socket Fittings

The Easybulb Plus is available in B22, E27 and GU10 base fittings. The GU10 comes in 4W to give out 300Lumens while the others comes in 9W and produces over 800 Lumens.

Easybulb Plus can be used worldwide

The Easybulb Plus is truly a "global" product. It can operate between 86Volts and 264Volts making it usable in all countries in the world. So, wherever you are in the world, you will have access to this technology.

Different Cosmetic Colours

Easybulb Plus comes in two standard colours: white and grey, as well as a multitude of different cosmetic colours to choose from, so you can choose your colour based on your preferences.

Business Application

For business owners, such as restaurants or business offices, you will love the ability to control either individual lights or groups of lights with your fingers or your voice through your smart device. DJ's especially love this feature. Linking the Easybulb Plus with your Home or Office Network

The Easybulb Plus WIFI system can be used to seamlessly link to your home or office network. It also allows you to use programs on either network without having to switch networks. Since Easybulb Plus offers features which can be beneficial to home or office environments, you will likely want to use it in both environments.

Hardware Design

The Easybulb Plus system features a 9W RGBW LED wireless bulb with 12 RGB and 15 white LED chips which allow them to work. Most people use the white lighting for everyday use and the colour lights for setting a mood. Inside the bulb, there is a 2.4 Ghz radio wave receiver which receives commands from the wireless bridge.

Easybulb Plus Story

Easybulb Plus was born on the idea in 2012 that we could invent a better lightbulb which was run by our modern smart device technology. We succeeded in launching such a device when we launched the first smartphone-controlled LED lights that year. The original Easybulb was a good invention but it was limited in its ability to function beyond the basics. At Gigateq, we set forward to start improving upon the original concept and we were not afraid to take on the challenge.

We chose to focus on the App features which users would like and also focused on the shape of the bulb. We wanted a shape which would look futuristic while providing the best lighting situation. These improvements allowed us to reach better milestones in our invention and improve upon the design so that it would appeal to the widest market possible. That was how Easybulb Plus was born.

Sleek Design for better lighting

We spent a great deal of time with testing on the shape and design for Easybulb Plus until we designed a shape and created a unit with the properties we needed for optimal heat dissipation and illumination.

Present State

We are very proud of the progress we have made on the Easybulb Plus design and, while there are always improvements which can be made, we feel we are finally ready for market. The app design is complete on iOS and Android, and we have plans to produce an app for the Windows market also soon. Prototypes have been tested and we have secured manufacturing agreements. We plan to use the funds we receive from this campaign to fund our production, advertising, general expenses, and to cover costs of our international licensing. We plan to begin shipping to the Europe., as well as USA, Canada, Australia, China, and Japan in November of 2014.

So what is the process?

Once our Indiegogo is successful you will receive an email from us. This email will include a link to a page where you will be asked to choose the type of Easybulb Plus you want. You will be asked to choose whether you want the RGBW bulb or White light only type. You will also let us know the socket fitting type you prefer and the cosmetic colour for your bulb. The questions will be asked based on your pledge.

We will also be contacting you with updates during the project and we would be happy to remove you from the contact list, if you feel you do not need us to.

Timeline

August - Complete Extensive Product Testing and start working on certification. Certification may take up to 2 months.

September - Indiegogo Campaign Ends and Register App on App Store and Google Play - Takes 2-3 Weeks 

October - Start production - Initial production run and tests. Ship to Early Adopters.

November - Complete production middle of November and ship units to Indiegogo backers.
