Ciao! Siamo gli Edoné, un gruppo musicale di Palermo, siamo attivi da 4 anni, scriviamo e suoniamo la nostra musica condividendola con il nostro seguito, che cerchiamo di aumentare concerto dopo concerto.

Il 16 Settembre dei ladri hanno rubato gran parte della nostra strumentazione dal luogo in cui solitamente proviamo. Purtroppo sono in tanti i musicisti che hanno dovuto vivere un momento simile; per noi tre è stata dura: da quando abbiamo iniziato, abbiamo sempre evitato di chiedere qualsiasi forma di aiuto economico e non, arrivando a produrre da soli un EP, pagando con i cachet dei concerti le spese per mix e mastering. Lo stesso dicasi per i nostri strumenti, acquistati con le poche entrate della band, concerto dopo concerto. Quando la città non ci ha offerto spazi dove suonare, abbiamo organizzato anche dei live ad ingresso gratuito, contando solo sulle nostre forze.

Adesso ci ritroviamo a dover chiedere il sostegno di chi ci segue e di chi sa cosa significa dover affrontare un ostacolo simile. Abbiamo sempre portato avanti la nostra musica nel modo più semplice possibile, rispettando gli altri, senza voler mai competere o pretendere alcun ritorno economico.
Oggi siamo veramente a terra: è per questo che siamo qui a chiedere aiuto a chi ha a cuore quelle passioni portate avanti con il solo scopo di poterle condividere con quanta più gente possibile.
Hanno portato via speaker, mixer, amplificatori e altri strumenti che utilizzavamo sia per provare, comporre e arrangiare i nostri brani, che per suonare dal vivo nei locali sprovvisti di impianto, per un danno economico che ammonta a più di 2500€.

Questa non è una semplice raccolta di denaro: noi vogliamo lavorare, suonare dal vivo, ritornare attivi, per ripagarvi totalmente dell’aiuto. Per far sì che questo accada, però, abbiamo bisogno di rifondere l’acquisto degli strumenti rubati.
Non abbiamo la minima intenzione di fermarci adesso, siamo più che mai decisi a ripartire con più forza, più impegno e più voglia di fare, sperando che fatti simili non accadano più e con la garanzia che tutta la solidarietà ricevuta verrà ricambiata.

Hello! We are Edoné, a band from Palermo, we’ve been in activity for 4 years, we write and play our music sharing it with our audience, which we manage to extend gig after gig.

On September 16th, some burglars stole most of our instruments from the place we usually rehearse in. Unfortunately, a lot of musicians had to face a moment like this; for us, it has been something hard to deal with: since our beginning, we’ve always avoided to ask for any help whether it involved money or not, and we’ve come to produce an EP on our own, paying the costs of mixing and mastering with money we earned from our concerts. Same for our equipment, which we bought using the band’s low income, venue after venue. When we hadn’t found locations to play in, we even organised free entry concerts, only counting on ourselves.



Now we have to ask our followers, and people who know what is like to overcome obstacles like this, to back us up. We’ve always brought our music forward the simplest way we can, respecting others, never searching for competition, never claiming high incomes as due.
Now we’re flat on our backs: that’s why we’re asking for help from who loves passions cultivated with the only purpose of sharing them with as many people as possible.
They took away speakers, a mixer, amplifiers and other instruments we used to rehearse, compose and arrange our songs, as well as to play live in locations without any sound system. The amount of money lost exceeds €2500 by far.

This is not a simple crowdfunding: we are longing to work, play live, get back into business, to pay you back all the aid. But to do so, we need to be refunded the money to replace the stolen equipment.
We have no intention to stop now, we’re more convinced than ever to start again with more strength, will and resolution, with the hope that an event like this won’t happen again and granting we will repay you for all your support.
