What's eMag+?
eMag+ is a cross-platform global digital magazine newsstand. It gives you all-you-can-read access to thousands digital magazines with a low monthly price.

eMag+ is available to use on smartphone, tablet and computer. You can even save your favorite magazines and read them offline without using the internet.

Why Are We Doing This?
Approximately 80,000 to 160,000 trees are cut down daily worldwide. This estimate is based on the Global Forest Resource Assessment, most recently conducted in 2015, which estimates that Earth lost around 60,000 square kilometers of trees globally in one year.

Every year, approximately 5,000,000,000 pages are printed for magazines. That’s caused more than 2,000,000 trees are killed every year.
To save these trees and save the environment, eMag+ is designed to turn these printed magazines into digital magazines. The more people move to digital magazines, the more trees we can save.

How Does eMag+ Works?
eMag+ is split into two parts:
- We all know Content Is King. So we have a self-publishing system for publishers to easily distribute their magazines to eMag+ for free based on a revenue share modal. That means publishers can easily upload the existing PDF files of their magazines to eMag+ to monetize and boost subscribers. This design ensures that we get excellent content for our readers.
- The second part is the mobile app and web app, which allow readers to subscribe and read their favorite magazines on smartphone, tablet and computer. Currently we have already finished the iOS app, Android app and web app.

Why We Need Your Help?
We need your help to realise the potential of our platform. We’re raising money to help us expand eMag+ to the web, which will let more people get involved and make spreading the platform a lot easier.
Currently we have approximately 50 magazines. Extra money raised will be used to do marketing and attract more publishers to publish their magazines on eMag+. We will also develop new features that will redefine the reading experience for readers.

Risks and Challenges
With launching a successful digital newsstand, we are aware of the challenges that come with it. The good news is that many of these challenges have already been solved before, and as such, are much easier to deal with nowadays. We have finished the self-publishing system, web app, iOS app and Android app. The mobile app is available on both of App Store and Google Play. We are excited about this!
Currently we have approximately 50 magazines and books ready for reading on our platform. Our biggest challenge is to get more publishers to publish their publications on eMag+.
As far as risks, well there is zero risk that this platform won’t be launched. Our team members have been volunteering their time until now and are ready to keep working until the system is available for every reader and every publisher, regardless of how much money is raised.
