Short Summary

Hey everyone! My name is Attilio Crupi, I'm a writer/director and the time has come for my next big project. 

Without giving too much away... Ending the Silence is a drama/thriller/horror short film about Tom, a depressed man who has attempted suicide multiple times but never has the strength to go through with it. After his last attempt he finds himself at the usual bar where he encounters a familiar face. Mark is a retired chef that lives in the same neighborhood as Tom. As they get to know each other over a few drinks, Tom realizes he can potentially manipulate Mark into assisting his suicide. 

My one goal in life is to direct films at a professional level. By donating, you are investing in me and my future as a filmmaker. 

What We Need & What You Get

I'm looking to raise at least $20,000 for this project. This will be sufficient enough to fairly pay my cast and crew for their time and this will also cover the costs of equipment rentals, insurance, locations, post-production, production design, providing food on set and more. 

You can either contribute your own desired amount or choose a set amount based on the tiers. By selecting a set amount, you will receive the perks that correspond.

For example: by selecting the Seat at the Premiere tier, you will lock in a seat at the premiere (food and drinks included) and receive all of the perks from the previous 3 tiers. 

The Impact

Work was scarce through the writer and actor strikes in 2023. Making a film like this will allow me to create opportunities for other individuals who are equally as passionate and inspired. This will also give me the opportunity to work with people much more experienced and knowledgable than myself. 

This film will have a higher production quality than the ones I made previously. This will give it a higher chance of getting noticed during any screenings or festivals.
