About Us
We're a small grassroots group, made up of pro-indy English Scots. Recently in the media, there has been suggestions that English, and English Scots people living in Scotland are anti-independence, and we feel it is important to give a voice to those of us who are proud to be both English AND Scottish, and wish to see Scotland governed by the people who care most about our future: the people that live and work here, no matter where they were born!
What We Need From You:
Political campaigning costs money. Events need booked, halls hired, t-shirts & badges need purchased, leaflets need printed...some of this can be recouped later, but it all takes cash to start with. Your donation will allow us to make more of an impact, and reach the English Scots out there who are undecided and need a little information before they're willing to vote YES!
- Times are tough, so we're not asking you to donate more than a few quid.
- For the price of a cup of coffee, we can buy a few badges or leaflets.
Other Ways You Can Help
OK, so not everyone can afford to donate, but you can still help us:
- Get out the word about English Scots for YES. If you believe some newspapers, every single English Scot is voting no! We know that's not true, but there are those out there who would like to vote yes, but need more information. Spread the word, join our Facebook group, follow us on Twitter etc.
- Contribute to the debate! If you're a proud English Scot, attend public debates, talk to your family, friends and neighbours - don't be afraid to get the word out.
- Make a video about why you're voting YES. Upload it to YouTube or Vimeo or wherever saying why you want to see an independent Scotland and we'll link to it! It doesn't have to be long, you don't need to spend ages making it look professional - just tell the world why you want a yes vote in September!
- Lastly but most importantly, register to vote and on September 18th, help make Scotland a greener, wealthier and fairer nation!
