Hello! My
name is Sebastian Savino. I’m a filmmaker setting out to produce my senior
thesis film at NYU Tisch. This project will allow me to put everything I’ve
learned over these four years into one incredible short film. Making a movie of
this size and scope is expensive and I can’t do it without your support. Your
contribution will help me realize this vision and continue my journey as a
filmmaker.

The Story
Entropic is about our never-ending pursuit for
meaning and purpose in life.
Milton is an egocentric cosmologist who has designed a
universe in the hopes of computing the meaning of life. Clark is an anxious
introvert who has finally built up the courage to introduce himself to the
grocery store cashier of his dreams. Liam is a small town crook who is about to
rob that same grocery store. Universes
collide when Milton’s experiment inadvertently spawns a massive portal in the center of the store.
How You Can Help!
We still need to raise a large portion of our budget for this movie to happen. Your contributions will go towards things
like:
- Professional equipment
- Production design
- Costumes & Props
- Location fees
- Food & transportation
- Special Effects
- Post-production
For you support, you will officially join our team and
receive periodic updates throughout the entire process. You will also get awesome perks and my undying gratitude for the rest of your days!
Why Get Involved?
Each year it’s becoming harder and harder for filmmakers to produce
the stories they want to tell. Not only will your contribution help me realize
my vision, it will also support the independent filmmaking community on a
larger scale.

Throughout my four years in film school, I’ve produced over
a dozen short films and commercials. In 2011, I started a film production
company that has gone on to develop an exciting library of content and
services. Down the road, I’ve made a ton of mistakes and encountered a
tremendous amount of stress. But at the end of the day, I have the same passion
for filmmaking that I had when I was making action movies in middle school.
This has been my dream for as long as I can remember. With your support, we can
enjoy that dream together and make one incredible film!

Eric Perini (Assistant Director): Raised in North Carolina, son of two wayward New York City artists, it's always been Eric's destiny to produce and AD Entropic. An award winning director in his own right, Eric prides himself on two things: experience in all roles of a film set and above all, having the biggest heart. Eric believes in this project so much, he's been willing to sacrifice what he loves most to make it happen (aka he's holding off on re-watching The Wire and has reduced his milkshake consumption to a weekly count of...7).
