Thanks for checking out my campaign page to help fund my new album and tour. I gotta be honest, I’m not really comfortable asking for money for my project. We all have dream projects. Why mine? I’ve been wrestling with that... 

You all probably know the music industry has changed drastically. Companies don’t fund and work with artists the way they used to. People love music like they always did. That hasn’t changed. But they just don’t buy and support it the same way. Where does this leave artists? We can’t stop making music. What are we supposed to do? 

Crowdfunding has become the way forward and ironically, it feels like a personally fulfilling way for me to connect with you, and you with me… 
Going through this journey, I see one door closes and another opens…

It brings me the greatest joy to be blessed to make music and I believe it’s a privilege to share my songs. It’s always been that way for me. That’s why I enjoy hanging with you after shows, meeting you and replying to your Internet shout outs. Crowdfunding has a positive effect. It’s a direct link with artists, allowing fans to play a part of the music making process they support. I’ve excited more than ever by the possibility of what we can accomplish together. 

I’ve got killer new songs. I can’t wait to share them. I’ve got a truly ace band that I love and admire. It’s a mutual kick to make music together and I’m over the moon at the results. I’m thrilled to get these songs recorded, share the process and then, take them on the road. Perhaps, even play a gig … in YOUR ‘hood… 

This project depends on your help to bring the album and tour to fruition - through pre-orders and donations, sharing this campaign on your social media - and sending this page directly with your friends. Then hopefully they will pass along to their friends… 
That’s the way this works.

I’ve tried to make this funding campaign different from the ‘average bear’. It’s loaded with premiums, and exclusive participation opportunities. There will be updates from the studio and tastes of the new record, an open forum to chat with me about the album and… in my effort to re-invent the wheel, I’ve come up with extra cool things to share. I’ve been persuaded to pillage my closet of some “secret stuff” to stay tuned-in for. They’re gonna be available as exclusive links “gifted” during the campaign for a limited window of time to all campaign supporters.

Should we be blessed to achieve the campaign’s target “goal”, those funds cover the efficient recording, mixing, mastering, art, manufacturing and limited tour costs. The stretch goal, beyond the $16,500, if you really get down to it, could cover what the labels used to fund. It’s an inter-connective process. Realize that once the record is released it’s like a tree falling in the forest. Just as vital is letting people know it exists. Ideally the record needs to engage the information channels, promoters and bookers are made aware, support is necessary for the band to tour... 
So if we reach our goal, how do I dare say this - keep on giving…  allowing us to achieve our true quest - to bring this album to you.
