ATTENTION!
We are quickly approaching the deadline of our Indiegogo campaign and anything will help in this final stretch! As the film nears completion we still need help to finish up the original music and secure music licensing. We are also gearing up to submit the film to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival, and Sundance Film Festival! The deadline to submit to these festivals is just around the corner on the first week of September! Any donations will help Extra Innings achieve this goal! Thank you!
Special shoutouts to Elliot Cohen, who has repeatedly donated to Extra Innings time and time again, and Lisa Stewart, who has recently made a contribution. Thank you so much, guys!
Have you ever pursued a dream in the face of adversity - had to overcome tragedy to fight for what you love?
The story of Extra Innings is just that.
A coming-of-age feature film over 20 years in the making, Extra Innings has been a labor of love, and a project close to director/writer/producer/actor Albert Dabah’s heart. Based on Albert’s true story, the film centers on an adolescent overcoming obstacles while pursuing his dream of becoming a baseball player, along with serving to help challenge the stigma for mental illness. Having had two older siblings who have dealt with mental illness, Albert felt it important to make their struggles heard in order to relay a message of hope to all those affected by similar tribulations. As the film has completed production, we are on the cusp of reaching our goals! We just need a little help with the finishing touches.
"In Memory Of"
The story of Extra Innings is based on loss that occurred in writer/director Albert Dabah's life. If you have lost someone special in your life and would like to donate “IN MEMORY OF” that individual, we will take any amount of donation and put the name of your lost one in the ending credits of the film. As part of the Extra Innings mission to promote mental health awareness, we would like to remember those we have lost and dedicate the film in their memory. If you are interested, please send an email to simbaproductions@gmail.com to let us know!

Being based on Albert's true story, Extra Innings is a heartfelt and deeply authentic film.

We are ready to take the next big step of completing the film, but we need your help! Funds from Indiegogo will be used for:
Funds will be utilized to make sure the film sounds as great as possible. From the crack of a bat to seagulls by the ocean, we want the world of Extra Innings to come alive through its sound.
The music of Extra Innings will be key to developing the world the characters inhabit. Whether it be licensing Classical Music and the Beach Boys, or producing original tracks written for the film by our composer, Peter Calo, funds from Indiegogo will help create the musical backdrop of Extra Innings.
Marketing and Distribution:
Once we finish Extra Innings, there will still be a lot left to do! With funds from Indiegogo, we will be able to submit to film festivals to hopefully win awards and set up a distribution deal that will allow Extra Innings to be shown worldwide. Funds raised will also help market the film, working to garner attention and get the word out!

- Dr. Dan Reidenberg
“While being a true-based story, the serious subject matter was handled so beautifully well, and appropriately placed humor made this movie very entertaining. All the actors nailed their performances. Good from beginning to end. I highly recommend this movie. It is amazing!”
