OUR STORY
My brother Conner and I are passionate USC cinematic arts students and we want to share our stories and vision with all of you! Filmmaking has always been a centerpiece in our family. First as a hobby shooting films in our backyard growing up, and since attending USC, a major creative outlet we actively pursue and sharpen. Equipped with many years of USC filmmaking experience, we hope to capture the true resourcefulness of our earliest days making films with family and friends and extend that approach for your viewing enjoyment.
What We Need & What You Get
We need $2,500 to bring this story to life.
Your generous contributions will go towards camera equipment, spectacular nighttime lighting sequences, make-up, and practical special effects (yeah, we're going practical!). We will also use this money for securing a barren location in the LA area as well as keeping our talented cast and crew fed while on set!
What Do You Get?
1. You will be given a credit as an Associate Producer!
2. You will receive a personalized copy of our finished short film!
3. If you donate $50 or more, you will receive a digital copy of the Fire and Brimstone original soundtrack!
The Impact
This is our story and my directorial debut. I am also composing this short film, a hobby of mine that I've sharpened and refined since discovering Pro Tools in the 8th grade! I have also been on numerous USC student film sets where I was able to help out, learn, and observe.
Risks & Challenges
Several challenges we face are financing the budget to provide food for our talent and crew as well as getting adequate lighting fixtures for our experienced cinematographer. Here is a link to his cinematography reel: https://www.martintaube.com/.
Our film will be shot on location at night to best achieve the remote and authentic atmosphere of settlers in the frontier. With your help, we will be able to capture our vision in collaboration with our cinematographer, crew, and cast to make something truly horrifying and gritty.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you are unable to contribute, spread the word and make some noise about our campaign! For you to be a part of making this possible would be my pleasure and I cannot wait to share this story with all of you!
