First Night Evanston is back!
It's the best New Year's Eve celebration you've ever been to: 30 performances at 6 stages, 5 food trucks, 4 hours of creative play (masks, hats, pennants, noise makers), 3 afternoon hours of children's entertainment, 2 blocks between venues, adding up to ONE great evening.
Do more than attend: Be a supporter!
It takes a lot to put together a party this size. And we want to do it right. Your generous contribution will go toward bringing the best talent to town, the tastiest treats, the most magical of magicians, and the friskiest of fleas at our flea circus.
In fact, paying for our amazing talent is the single largest cost for running First Night.
Your contributions make all this possible. The more you give, the more you get. So, please: dig deep.
Why we're doing this again
Remember First Night Evanston? It ran from 1992-2006. For the millennium celebration, more than 15,000 people attended from over 70 zip codes. And now we're back! To help Evanston celebrate its 150th anniversary, we want to end the year with the best event ever and continue the New Year's Eve celebration in the years to come.
What else can you do to help?
We need volunteers on 12/31 at all the venues to help manage the crowds, give directions to performances and restrooms, and provide safe exit in an emergency. Volunteers earn free admission to all events and work only part of the evening.
Tell your friends. Bring your friends. Let us know if you want to help. And remember to use the share tools at Indiegogo.
