MISSION STATEMENT

I’m passionate about helping people bring health and wellness into their lives.  Being healthy and strong can become an unconscious practice through micro changes on a daily basis.  Wouldn’t it be nice if instead of slumping at our desk we could find ab muscles, or taking stairs over the elevator could become an enjoyable past time, not an avoidable occurence?

WHAT IS FITNESS FLOWER? 

Fitness Flower is a company dedicated to making Fitness simple, accessible and fun, through beautiful, multi-purpose products.  But more than that, we are a movement to change the way people think about exercise.

WHAT ARE THE PRODUCTS?

The first product is the BATHROOM BEGONIA.  

Six convenient exercises are printed on a waterproof flower that suctions to your bathroom mirror with a sand timer.  The exercises correspond to your beauty routine in the bathroom.  Brushing, flossing, lotioning, blow-drying, gargling, and drying your hands are each paired with important muscle building toning exercises.  It's like getting a 10-minute workout without costing you that 10 minutes.

In each box you receive:

• 1 8 inch pink flower with illustrations by the amazing Greg Paprocki
  
• Directions for the exercises in the "leaves"
  
• A Reading Rose bookmark with stretches to be done while lying in bed
  
• A brochure with Fit Tips ensuring you get the most out of each exercise

Six convenient exercises are printed on a 24oz. BPA free double walled tumbler that you use while sitting at your desk.  The exercises correspond with any desk activities, and the great part is, nobody even knows your doing them.  Leg lifts, desk press, ab lift, ankle circles, spine twist, glute and inner thigh squeezes, not to mention the benefits of drinking more water throughout your day.

INSPIRATION – WHY DID I CREATE THESE PRODUCTS

After my first child was born I found myself without any sort of fitness program and didn’t know what to do.  Even as a former professional ballet, Broadway and Radio City Rockette dancer as well as a Pilates instructor, the conventional ways of working weren’t working for me.  I even lived next door to the gym but still couldn’t get there.  I realized there was a gap in fitness products available.  I started incorporating strength training into my existing beauty routine and realized being healthy and strong can become as routine as brushing my teeth. 

Athletes train throughout the day in order to stay in shape and improve their skills.  I thought, why not create products that help others awaken their inner athlete.  Micro changes on a daily basis create macro results.  My goal is for everyone to feel the benefits of lengthening and strengthening their muscles without taking any time out of their busy day.  My goal is to eliminate the obstacles and excuses we all have to getting and staying healthy.  If you brush your teeth you can work out.  If you sit at your desk you can work out.  This is how the Fitness Flower dream began.

I NEED YOUR HELP!

When I’m not taking care of my kids, or teaching ballet or Pilates, I am working on this company.  My husband and I have funded the production of the first two products ourselves.  With both kids almost in school full time, I’m ready to kick this up a notch and take it to the next level.  With your help, I can finish production of the next product in our line: the COUCH CALLA LILY (exercises on drink coasters for the couch potato in all of us!), work on a mobile app, and a fitness game for children.

I plan to grow the Fitness Flower brand into a household name.  I want to be the fitness company people go to for the inspiration and motivation to live a healthy life.  It thrills me to hear people say how much my products have helped them!
