Overview

The FIXT Nomad gives you 100 gallons of clean water in your pocket. For each product we sell, we provide clean water to people in disaster areas who might not survive without it. This revolutionary 3-in-1 filter has a straw, attaches your camelbak or water bladder, and screws onto your hot water tank for 100 gallons of clean water in case of a natural disaster or water outage. The Nomad removes bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, and even radiological contaminants.

Units Ready to Be Shipped

We will begin shipping the first round of USA backers who ordered before November 20th, 2017 in early December.

We will be shipping the next round of orders late January or early February 2018.

How many gallons can it filter?

Up to 100 gallons.

Are the filters replaceable?

No, not at this time. We are hoping this may be an option in the future.

Does it only fit camelbaks?

No, the FIXT Nomad works with almost all water bladders. Your nomad includes 9 total fittings and connectors to go from the straw to water bladder to hot water tank.

What does the FIXT Nomad remove?

Aesthetics, bacteria, chemical and radiological contaminants, including fluoride, chlorine, heavy metals and prescription drugs.

What can't the FIXT Nomad filter remove?

The FIXT Nomad can filter almost any water source, except for saltwater.

The unit itself weighs just 2.45oz.

What are the dimensions of the Nomad?

The FIXT Nomad is smaller than a deck of cards, it is only 2.5"x4.5"x1.25".

When will I receive my FIXT Nomad?

We will begin shipping the first round of orders from the USA received before November 20th, 2017 in early December. Other backers can expect their Nomad in late March to early April.

Where are the filters made?

The filters are made and assembled here in the USA. Some of the components come from our manufacturer's sister company in China.

Is it hard to suck water through the straw?

No, it isn't hard. That said it does require enough suction to draw water through the filter.

What kind of testing is done on the Nomad?

Each FIXT Nomad is individually flushed, dried and packaged to ensure water flow and that any particles or materials from manufacturing are removed. It has been extensively tested by independent state and EPA laboratories. It is tested to NSF/ANSI protocol 42 & 53.

Did Ian really drink out of that toilet?

Yes, Ian drank from the toilet as you saw in the video. He has drunk from numerous toilets, including one at LAX, as well as has tested other FIXT products in stagnant lakes, jacuzzis, fountains and a few other gross water sources.

Does it really remove bacteria? Can I travel to 3rd world countries with this?

Absolutely! It is one of the great uses of the FIXT Nomad, traveling. The filters remove 99.999% of bacteria.

Do you ship worldwide?

We do! We have shipped out to many countries and we have a flat rate for the EU. If your county is not listed, please get in touch with us at happiness@fixtwater.com and we will provide a shipping quote.

How do I know when I need to replace my filter?

The Nomad will get more difficult to draw water through and eventually it will stop being able to draw water completely once the filter has reached its lifespan. The filtering ability will not degrade over time, it is safe to continue using until the point where water can no longer.
