About Us
Formula uOttawa is a student-run organization that represents the University of Ottawa. Our team of 40 students designs and builds an open-wheeled race car to compete in various divisions within competitions like Formula North and Formula SAE Michigan. Composed of students in multiple disciplines from engineering to business, the team commits thousands of hours solving challenges that prepare them for projects in their future workplace setting and career outside of school.
How Does Your Donation Help?
Every donation made helps us change our focus from fundraising to our passion of engineering and creating. Displayed in our budget, we’ve identified various fundraising goals and what we can accomplish with the respective amount of donations. Any amount moves us closer to continue our difficult project of engineering, designing and building our open-wheeled racecar.
By donating you will not only be helping build a car; you will be investing in the next generation of engineers, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
The Team
Composed of 40 students, Formula uOttawa is a completely extracurricular team where its members volunteer their time to pursue this project. With respect to that, it naturally attracts some of the most dedicated and driven students. Outside of the classroom, our Formula project provides them with experience in all levels of an engineering business. This experience gives student the confidence and knowledge needed in the world outside of the classroom.
