FPF is a not-for-profit corporation in New York City dedicated to promoting the cultural exchange of piano students between the United States and other countries and to facilitating the international mobility of young pianists. FPF was founded by Italian pianist, Simone Ferraresi.
Board of Directors: Simone Ferraresi, Christopher Swann, Miyuki Kobayashi
Advisory Committee: Yashar Yaslowitz, Mauro Vignolo, Giovanna Bonora
The FPF 2014 will allow young talented pianists from all over the world to "Learn from world-class pianists and professors, surrounded by breathtaking beauty in the historical city of Ferrara, Italy — City of the Renaissance, 'City of Bicycles', and UNESCO World Heritage Site." THE BEST STUDENTS WILL BE SELECTED FOR RECITALS IN NEW YORK AND ITALY.
Only approximately the 70% of our expenses for this FPF are covered for by sponsors, donors and program revenues.
We need some extra help in order to provide the participants of the 2014 Festival with a memorable and unforgettable educational and cultural experience.
Your kind contribution will help toward the following expenses:
In exchange for your contribution you will get one of the rewards you can see to the right.
Although this is the very first FPF, the maximum number of active students was reached in a short period of just one month and a half, as young pianists enrolled in the Master Classes from all over the world (Italy, Spain, Japan, Netherlands and Ireland)---and I am thrilled to see how all thirteen participants are of the highest level.
