Hi Everyone! Our names are Kyle Blaich and Honor Kidd. Both Kyle and I believe that comedy is a great uniting tool that can help elucidate the humanity of everyone. Freak Beast embodies the world of amateur wrestling, while emphasizing the power of friendship and family. We are taking this opportunity to not only shed light on the very real world that is wrestling, but also to create content that comes from making memories with our amazing team and learning from the production. Having a more light-hearted story makes it easy to get our crew engaged and involved in the creative process truly making Freak Beast a collaboration of young professionals.
We are hoping to raise $5,000 for Freak Beast. All of the money we earn will go directly towards making this film possible. In order to make Freak Beast as realistic as possible, our production design team has a hefty job of replicating an authentic wrestling gym. A portion of the funds will go towards those wrestling gym rentals, equipment rentals, and other props and posters that make our gym feel real. Additionally, a large part of the funds will go to renting camera equipment and lighting equipment to make sure we can get the best quality of footage during the prime wrestling scenes. There is so much that goes into make a film, we appreciate your support! If you have any questions about other ways our funding will be used, please feel free to reach out!
There are always risks that come with making a film, but we have such a qualified and capable team to help minimize those risks. From our talented cinematographer, Jake Dugger, to our sharp UPM, Sharon Kang, who handles the finances, we are working hard to keep Freak Beast a reality. This all stems from your support!
Even if you can’t monetarily contribute, we’d still love your support! Making people aware of our project is also extremely helpful! Help us spread the word about Freak Beast by sharing this campaign or telling your friends!
