SD card print

Print via USB or SD card. When using a USB cable, you connect Freaks3D to your computer. With 3D software on the computer, you just plug in the filament, check the settings and print.

Or you upload a file to the SD card and tell it to print from the SD card.

The current status for Freaks3D is: all R&D work has been finished for the final prototype. We now jump from concept to manufacture. We present it on Indiegogo campaign because we want you to help us ramp up production and bring Freaks3D into homes, maker faires, maker spaces, labs and classes.

We believe it is the most accessible 3D printer (great and affordable price), reliable (high layer resolution) and small enough to be carried everywhere.

From RIGHT NOW through August 15, ElecFreaks is offering FREE PRINT SERVICES for everyone around the globe. 

How it works: 

1. Help get the words out by sharing the "free 3D print program" to 3D enthusiasts around you VIA twitter or facebook WITH the link: http://igg.me/at/freaks3d, and AT @elecfreaks. 

2. Send your 3D print models to project@elecfreaks.com, with a snapshot of the tweet or facebook msg  you sent out in Step 1. 

Remember send us your shipping address, contact number included. 

If you're already one of our Freaks3D Indiegogo backers, only tell us your pledge ID, according to the pledge ID, we can find your shipping address and ship the 3D print together with your Freaks3D. 

Please note that the model dimensions do not exceed 5cm X 5cm. 

3. ElecFreaks start printing your 3D model and send package into your hands. The 3D printing takes some time, thus we will start from the earliest submitter who has finished Step 1 AND 2.

Q & A

1. August 2015 is shipping date, is that correct?

Yes, as Freaks3D is a finalised product which is fully prepared for shipping, August 2015 is exactly the shipping date. ElecFreaks will start the production line soon after the Indiegogo campaign goes live, so expectantly the first batch will be delivered soon after 15, August. 

2. How do you do aging for the Freaks3D kits? 

It is necessary to let you know we cannot do aging for the kit form. 

However for the assembled machine, firstly after it's assembled, we will start multiple actual module print tests. When ensure this runs smoothly without any error, we will have the Freaks3D print a personalized handle and include it in the package for every backer! 

Handles of various of shapes will be shipped at random for our supporters. All the 3D files of handles will be stored in the SD card, so you can feel free to print any one you want. 

3. What is the material used for printing, is it readily available and what is the cost? 

Supported print material on the Freaks3D 3D printer: PLA, TPU. 

Every Freaks3D assembled perk goes with one PLA filament peel, while the kit perk level does not include filaments. The filament spools will be available to purchase on http://www.elecfreaks/estore in a couple of days.
