Music is More Than Sound, it's a Feeling
What We Have Done

Our Mission
Full Body Sound started as a passion product for us. We love music and we love the combined experience of feeling our favorite songs while we listen to them. We also love extreme sports and (sometimes) this love resulted in minor injuries. With a TENS unit device in hand from physical therapy, and a desire for tactile audio-Full Body Sound was born. The more we shared it with friends and family the more we received the question, “Where can I get one of these?” We realized that it would be selfish to keep this experience to ourselves and are now happy to share it with you!
Full Body Sound Features
• Full stereo: Feel both left and right audio
• Multi-user compatible: Share a musical and electrical connection with a friend
• Compatible with TENS accessories: Turn your body into a custom speaker
• More than bass: Stimulate your body to the full spectrum of music- vocals, string instruments, and electric guitars

To Use
1. Choose a song, the device is synced (through Bluetooth or auxiliary cord) to speakers or headphones. This way you can listen to the audio while you feel it!
2. A pair of electrodes are placed on the skin of the user and electric current stimulates the muscles and nerves near the electrodes.
3. Full Body Sound technology alters the audio input and conditions it, allowing users to feel audio frequencies.
4. What you feel as a user varies from person to person. But, electrical stimulation contracts your muscles to the rhythm of the music wherever you choose. The user can choose to feel electric stimulation in a variety of places depending on the placement and location of electrodes.
How it Feels
Have you ever played one of those old timey games at the carnival or arcade where you grabbed the metal knob and felt an exciting jolt with a friend? Or maybe you visited a museum where they had an exhibit describing electricity and how it travels from + to -. Full Body Sound electrically stimulates your muscles and nerves to the music with electrode pads on the surface of the skin.
Want to feel something different? Just shift the electrode just by half an inch, or try a new location. Muscle groups also play a big role in what you will feel. For example, fast twitch muscle groups (like your bicep) can physically move your muscles. While slow-twitch groups ( like your lower back) will yield the rhythmic sensation of what you are listening to without much muscle movement.
These are some of our favorite placements:

How will you choose to FEEL MUSIC?
Here is video of us and our friends using "Ol' Blue" in Las Vegas, NV.
How it Works
The fundamental technology behind Full Body Sound was derived from Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) devices. These medical devices have been around for decades and have offered pain relieve to hundreds of thousands of people.
Pre-Order, and Revolutionize the Way We Experience Music
You get our flagship product, a pocket size device that allows you to FEEL Music. We have created several iterations of working prototypes and have tested it on over 400 people. With this user feedback, we have improved the design to include: full stereo, high and low frequency stimulation, Bluetooth, and a larger rechargeable battery. The FBS-1 device comes ready to use with electrodes. Help us revolutionize the way we experience music and transform our prototype into a product in your hands.

Music is For Everyone
Music lovers come in many different forms, and we believe music should be enjoyed by everyone. No matter what genre you like, if you are a festival goer, prefer relaxing at home, or are a member of the Deaf Community, we want to offer the fully immersive experience of the FBS-1 unit to everyone.
We had the pleasure of sharing Full Body Sound with Lori, a member of the Deaf Community, at the Collision Conference in 2018. This friendship opened our eyes to the possibilities of our technology. Lori had some limited low frequency hearing when she was young and then completely lost all hearing. She was able to feel some of her favorite songs long lost to her childhood, and for the first time in her life experienced birdsong. People such as Lori and their experiences with Full Body Sound have fueled our drive forward to create a product we are proud of.

Our Progress and Next Steps
We have come a long way. The journey from idea to thing has included several iterations of prototypes with new features. We have tested these, gotten feedback and have produced the FBS-1 unit! We are excited to share the fruit of our efforts with you.
You will help us prove that there is group of awesome people who want to Feel Music through electric stimulation. We have set a $30,000 Goal for injection molds, production, and certifications.
In the case we don’t meet our funding goal, we guarantee full money reimbursement to all contributors.![]()
Full Body Sound offers a unique and customizable option for a tactile wearable. With Full Body Sound, you won’t be limited to bass or tactile location. We want this to be an item that all music lovers can enjoy, not just a select few. We have gone through several iterations of prototyping and through attending many events and venues we have been able to get valuable product feedback from over 400 people. We listened to what users said, and have worked on incorporating the capability to control the electrostimulation intensity as well as bluetooth capabilities. We also recognize that our tech has many other possible applications. We are excited to provide a tactile wearable to music lovers like us, but we also want to spend more time with the Deaf Community, VR/AR, and possibly delve into the Health Tech arena. With your help, we can open up this world of possibilities.

Risks & Challenges
Hardware, especially that which includes electricity, can be very tricky. To combat possible future issues, we have formed a community that can offer the expertise to help us get our product to you. We are members of SolderWorks, an innovation lab designed for entrepreneurial visionaries in the hardware space. The space provides the tools and connections we need to carry through for our backers. In order to keep costs down with our electronic parts, we have partnered closely with Arrow Electronics. We have visited their local office in Centennial, CO to make sure we can decrease the cost and streamline our design. We look forward to keeping our backers updated with both new successes as well as possible delays. We are born problem-solvers and we will keep backers informed on how we will solve issues.
