As a company, Gaard One is dedicated to making an impact on the wilderness land that inspires our adventures. As a company, we have established a Land Conservation Advisory Board made up of some of Minnesota’s premier game-changers in conservation.
At the culmination of our campaign the amount of funds raised through Gaard One will be taken by The Gaardians and matched to the most relevant, current projects in need and the organizations that are working to protect that land.

Risks & Challenges
We created this campaign to launch our brand and establish the Gaard One tribe by getting you an entire modular, handy set of gear for a killer price. The good news? Our packs and multi-tools are already in production- that means we have gone through the prototype stage, troubleshooting and modifications for V1! However, to get you the pièce de résistance- our interchangeable LED, USB charged light clips, we will need to purchase a mold (no more 3D Printing!) and get it to our tried and trusted manufacturer. Who woulda thought the tiniest add on would be the biggest investment?! To be real, we already made it through the riskiest part pre-launch, so now we just need YOU.

What is the volume of the backpack?
The full backpack measures in at 35 Liters.
How heavy is the backpack?
The backpack and solar panel weigh 7.2lbs.
What is the weight capacity of the stool?
Our stool holds more than 350lbs without issue.
Is the backpack waterproof?
While our zippers are waterproof, the overall pack is water resistant.
Is the backpack comfortable?
The backpack is fitted with a sternum strap for comfort and stability, and includes a padded/adjustable strap system & hip belt designed to ease your load.
Is the solar panel detachable?
Not only is the solar panel detachable, but it clips to the backpack in two separate ways so you can use it while it’s on your back or hang it over the stool when it’s not.
When will I get my gear?
We will be shipping full sets of gear in October 2018!
