Gabb Wants to Provide Parents More Options

Stephen (founder/father) and Landon (young business guy/father) are not okay with the current way technology is being introduced to children:

• We are not doctors, but you don't need to be a doctor to see the impact on kids, when technology (a cell phone) is introduced too early
• Stephen came up with this idea when looking for a phone for his 12 year old son
• Contributions will help us to bring this product to the whole nation

What We Need & What You Get

We need $ to pay for FCC approval and to show the big investors that this is really a problem (somehow they don't see it yet):

• We are raising a minimum of $50k to show potential and introduce Gabb into some states
• We need at least $100k if we hope to launch Nationwide
• Money raised will go towards FCC regulatory costs, registering legally in each state and manufacturing costs

If we are successful we can provide a solution to kids and parents. We can create a great way to introduce a phone without all the negative behaviors associated with that task. 

Risks & Challenges

Building a phone network is not easy, however, we know what it takes:

• In order to offer our phones across the country we must get approval from the FCC on a state by state basis (reason for our indiegogo). This process is detailed in our timeline section
• If we do not get enough support via the Indegogo we will not be able to bring this product to market
• We have worked with one of the top phone manufacturers (ZTE) in order to provide the highest quality phone
• We are only accepting pledges (with a phone reward) from individuals in the United States
• Due to the restrictions made to the phone, our phones CANNOT be utilized on other service providers (not a risk, but important to understand)
