Gematombe is an action-puzzle-vs-game where you can play one-on-one matches against your friends or the computer.

The story and characters on Gematombe are basen in the greek legend Pandora and her box/Vase.

You can try and play our FREE GAME DEMO to get a general idea of the game, the music, the mechanics and story.

GEMATOMBE WILL BE LAUNCHED regardless of this campaign getting founded or not. We are using this platform of crowdfunding to be able to show our game to the world and to get a little push to help us deliver an even more polished and rich game.

Backing up and helping this campaign will able us to deliver a more rich, complete and polished game for you and the gaming community to enjoy.

This base game is planned to be released through Steam shop platform around mid year 2018.

But that is just what we have achieve on our own during more than a year of development, and just the basic of the game we want to produce.

The money gathered during this campaign will be used to cover the cost of developing the rest of the game during the next few months.

If we get to exceed the 9k goal, we will make more content for the game according to the amount and keep the developing team well paid.

With this campaign completed we would be able to produce more content for the game and for you, the players.

With the 9000 USD goal completed we would be able to add to the game:

• Multiplayer online- Multiplayer is achievable in our current engine (Construct 2), but we need extra time and resources that we don't currently have. With your help we can get such coveted feature that will include random match-up and player searching functions. You can help us test the online by donating on the LEGEND tier.

• More characters- With extra money we can get all the ideas we originally had with more varied and interesting Daemons/world evils like Geras the old age, Keres the painful death, Deimos and Phobos and many more.
  Titan level backers can get to choose which characters we add first.
  The one Olympian Tier backer can help us create a brand new Daemon from scratch.

• More in-game artwork - Currently, characters only have 3 sprites each (plus different expressions). More money can let them to feel even more alive than they are now.

• Extra mode, Quest mode - Quest mode can give us freedom to include different gameplay styles and tell a whole new story to flesh out the Greek inspired world of Gematombe. This mode will have around 100 puzzle stages, including NPC interactions and a progressive story that tells the origins of the vase and the final quest for Pandora to enclose all the Daemons. Since this will require all the characters to be finished this will be added last, but we promise it won't disappoint.
  You or your character can even become an NPC by donating in the Demi God Tier.

MUSIC! All our music is composed by the incredibly talented Patricio "Pokérus" Thielemann. We have the main themes of the game covered, but we would love to have a complete OST to accompany our game.

One extra goal that we would love to achieve but is currently out of our hands is voice acting for the characters. Only possible if we get to surpass the goal of this campaign by a good amount.

The BASE GAME that we have worked so far contains:

• VS mode local - Engage your friends in puzzle battle action! In this classic couch versus mode, you select the stage and the contenders to settle a winner in a race for the first Gematombe! Who's the best? Find it out!

• Story mode - Pick a Character and start your journey to capture all the daemons back to the vase or to wreak havoc across the world! In this mode you have 6 campaigns packed with funny cut-scenes between battles!

• Endless mode - In this mode you will fight in an endless stage, to find how long can you stay alive with no other opponent than yourself!

• Survivor mode - Fight your way against randomly selected enemies! Try to get as far as you can, cause they will keep coming for you!

• 6 characters - The game so far has a cast of 6 characters, Pandora The Hope, Adicia The Injustice, Nosi The Plague, Apate The Deceit, Ania The Sorrow, Khaos The Chaos and one secret Character to discover

We are Route 5 games, a small independent video games developing team from Santiago, Chile, South America. Our company is conformed by 3 members, and we 3 are the developers of Gematombe.

We are:

• Cristobal Muñoz (lead programer and video games designer)
• Diego Cereceda (lead artist and video games designer)
• Pablo Prado (level designer and video games designer)

All 3 of us are professional. We met when we were studying video game design at an institute and we have worked together in a few other small projects.

Some of the other games we have worked on, where under our former company name “Evilcorp games”. While in that company we were part of a little bit bigger crew of 5 members and we worked on 3 games for Android devices and we released them in the “play store” of google.

Gematombe is our first PC game project and we have put all our abilities on it!

THE GAME WILL BE LAUNCHED, the basic-features version of the game is virtually ready and will be launched even if this campaign doesn’t get funded, so there is no risk for you of not having the opportunity to get a copy of this game.

The risks backers take by donating to our campaign are really few but they do exist.

• Technical issues: We have made sure to back everything up in the development of this game but there is always a possibility for things to go wrong. Luckily it would only slow launching dates but not cancel them.
• Health issues: Our team is small (only 3 people) so there is the real possibility of any sever health issue to slow us and delay the project.
• Rewards: There is little to no risk in this area because we have chosen to make all our rewards to be digital. So the only risk is that it could take a little time to deliver them due to our small team and having the time to work on them. BUT THEY WILL BE DELIVERED!

Basically this entire campaign is one big stretch goal to our project. As we have mention before, the base version of Gematombe will be ready in a short amount of time but it will only have minum/basics features. this campaign has the objective to help us develop and add more content and features to our game.
