A BREACH OF SILENCE – About Us

Hello, we are A Breach of Silence! We are a metal band from Brisbane, Australia. The band is made up of Mat Cosgrove (guitar), Blair Layt (bass), Kerrod Dabelstein (guitar), Rhys Flannery (vocals), and Daniel Trickett (drums). We have been together since 2010, and as many of you already know, there is nothing more important to us than writing our music, and meeting our fans while on tour.

Why We Need Your Help

Since we released our latest album, The Darkest Road, we were able to fund our last tour to North America, as well as Australia and New Zealand, however the costs involved are still a significant burden and difficult for us to shoulder on our own, even with label support. For example… when we traveled to the USA for a six week tour with Drowning Pool, our total costs were in excess of $50,000. The experience we had seeing so many new faces singing our lyrics back to us while we were on stage was priceless, and it’s been out number one priority to get back out on the road for another tour throughout the USA and Australia. We’ve been really hard and saving up everything we can to get back out there again, however it’s taking a bit longer than we expected. If we are able to raise just $20,000 from our fans, it would allow us to head back out to North America and across Australia to hang with all of you once again! Here’s a quick breakdown of how we plan on using your contribution:

·  $14,000 – Touring Expenses (Flights, Vehicle Rental, Gas, Food)

·  $4,000 – Cost to make the Perks

·  $2,000 – IndieGoGo & Payment Processing Fees

What We’ll Give You for Helping Out

We have some great perks for everyone who helps us out. Many of them are only available through this IndieGoGo campaign, and are limited in quantity so once they’re gone… that’s it! We’ve got heaps of merch, autographed items, a limited gold-edition EP, and even opportunities to have us come to your house for a private bbq and concert for you and your friends!
