Hey Kickstarter, we are Aditi and Akshay, the founders of GoRelax. We are so excited to introduce GoRelax to you!

We want to give you a little background on how GoRelax came to life. Here is our story:  

It all started when we were living in New York. Life in the city was extremely fast paced and everyone seemed to be in a state of constant struggle. We were taken aback by the sheer tension that seemed to absorb almost everyone around us. While for some of us it was about struggling hard to be successful at work, for others it was about finding quality time for family. Life had become so busy that we hardly took time out for ourselves. Instead, the overpowering effects of stress deeply disturbed our lifestyles and severely affected health. We just couldn't make our peace with this and this problem gripped our minds for months.

In our search for a solution, we wanted something that was natural, effortless and effective at the same time. But we just couldn't find the right answer....Then one day, Aditi had a severe back ache due to lack of sleep and tensed muscles. Her grandmother seeing her pain suggested a more traditional approach to treatment. With limited downside and her grandmother’s conviction – she decided to give the treatment a shot. 

Over the next 4 days - her grandmother's solution worked like magic. With gentle pressure using a tool with spikes, different points on the back were kneaded. Aditi was skeptical, but come day 4, there was a visible improvement in pain. We instituted regular use of the pressure therapy and there was no looking back. It not only helped ease pain but Aditi felt a lot more relaxed and energetic during the day.

This incident is what triggered the idea of GoRelax. If there was knowledge transmitted over generations that worked, why not validate with research, and create something usable by others? With a lot of research and validation from various medical and renown acupressure bodies, we came up with a product design, created experiments, and perfected our product over the next year. After countless hours of toil, we’re immensely proud to bring our product to market and hope to see millions benefit from this ancient wisdom, solving for some of the most chronic stress and posture induced problems.

Customs & duties information

GoRelax cannot mark orders as gifts. This is illegal, so we will not be able to do this.

Our prices DO NOT include VAT, GST or other country taxes.

As many of you know, our terms of sale for international orders are FOB destination. This means that you pay all duties or taxes. As we are shipping these products all over the world, it is impossible for us to build in the various duties, VAT and GST tax for each location through Kickstarter.

For international customers who are required to pay customs, you will receive an email from USPS, FedEx, DHL, or your local customs authorities asking for payment to have your order processed through customs. Unfortunately, there is no legal way around customs. Once you make that payment to the customs broker your order will be processed for final delivery.

Shipping procedure

Your order will be handled by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL up to the entry of your country. Once your order enters your country your order may be handed off to your local post office for final delivery. International transit will have a 7-21 Business day delivery time. U.S Domestic shipments will take 3-7 business days. 

Within 24 hours of your order being shipped, you will receive a tracking link with your shipping details. When you receive your tracking #, please keep an eye out for the package. If you do not receive your order within the above mentioned timeline, please reach out to us so that we can file a claim with the shipping services.

Shipping policy

If our shipping carrier attempts delivery to you and you don't get it because you’re not there, wrong address, moved without notifying us, and the package returns back to our warehouse, it will be the buyer's responsibility to pay the shipping fee to reship the order. When you receive your tracking #, please keep an eye out for the package.
