The Impact
We want to break boundaries with this film. Not many thrillers have females as protagonists or take a female perspective, so we want to change that pattern. We also want to be inclusive and open to different ethnicities in our cast to contribute to a more diverse industry. Last but not least, we want to talk about serious themes such as Stockholm syndrome and mental health in a respectful manner, especially during this pandemic. It is urgent to bring awareness to these topics.
Funding - Where the funds will be invested:
PRODUCTION - We will use the funds to find the most fit locations in London. A luxurious house that will be appropriate for our sophisticated character Lana. Your contribution will be valuable to afford our cast, main crew and equipment to tell the story in the best way possible. We will also allocate part of the funds for practical matters such as transport and catering.
POST PRODUCTION - We will invest in post-production regarding editing, grading, sound design and mix as well as choosing the most appropriate music that captures the essence of the thriller.
MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION - Online publicity and applications in festivals that require a level of investment.
Other Ways You Can Help
If you can't contribute with funds, that doesn't mean you can't help in other ways. We deeply appreciate it:
- You can get the word out and make some noise about this campaign on social media
- Use the Indiegogo share tools! And share our project to the world (safely of course!)
We will be very grateful with any help you give us. Thank you so much for reading our campaign and we count on you to support us in any way you can!
