$1 to be a part of bringing this exciting story to life!

We’ve already raised the money to shoot our movie and are slated
to begin filming in early December 2013!
All we’re trying to do now is raise a minimum of 5K to go
towards post production, marketing and some other miscellaneous production
expenses.
The truth is, we’re trying to raise more than our stated
goal. We’re hoping the goal will be the
starting point to raise 50K or more.
Everything will be used 100%
for making this film and exposing it to the world. In short, we're going
to put it all on the screen and into the project. So please, don't be

THE EXPERIENCE
We've done this

it many more times to come. We're gonna have a blast making this movie as
always, but we're also gonna have the thrill of actually releasing it too, due
to a first look deal we have set up for distribution. So we're not only
going to make Heels a reality, we're going to get a
worldwide release on a project we all get to be part of. How cool is

THE TIMELINE
We're in pre-production
mode - Location scouting, casting and locking down all our equipment deals and
crew now. We're currently coordinating schedules and preparing for a 2013

HEELS FULL SYNOPSIS
After adopted brothers
Jody and Ronnie Lackey run out of options to make a living, they turn to the
one thing they’re great at…getting their asses kicked for money.
As their third rate,
wrestling promoter Benny tells them, “You’re the best losers I have. “
They set out to prove him wrong, not by going from wrestling “heels” to
“heroes,” but by saving their failing family business, a one of a kind BBQ
restaurant that closed it’s doors after a family tragedy.
Forever devoted to their
cultured and insightful gay dad Calvin who took them in when no one else would,
Jody and Ronnie, who are closer than most real brothers, help tow the line in
his time of need. With their other unconventional adopted siblings
including Westin, a wheelchair bound, compulsive gambler always at odds with
Ronnie; Georgie, a precocious 10 year old savant, wise beyond her years and
Jacob, a girl crazy teenager with a knack for doctoring up family recipes. Jody
and Ronnie work to rebuild the family’s life and stability.
As things unfold,
Michelle, the family’s bright and alluring social worker, develops an endearing
and romantic bond with Jody. But their budding romance is rudely
interrupted by Michelle’s arrogant ex-boyfriend and takes an unexpected turn
that leads Jody to whole heartedly confront some of his evident fears.
With a colorful cast of
characters ranging from hilarious, local wrestling buddies to volatile or
unpredictable business associates, will the Lackey family accept the realities
of their life? Along the way, some may realize dreams, others may
realize the importance of change and responsibility and one may realize what
might be love. In this heart warming, hysterical and universally identifiable
story, served up the old fashioned way, with a side of action packed desire,
hard work and commitment - will this unconventional family triumph and overcome
the odds?
