Heirloom is a short film inspired from Indonesian-horror films. From the mind of Indonesian Actor turned Director, Michael Lie, he brings his love of horror films with a twist of family drama into the western world.
Short Synopsis:
Dillan is broke and desperate to sell his late father’s house, but when he discovers a ritual room, it leads him to release a demon that traps one’s soul, which sends him into a haunted house frenzy with nowhere to hide.
Why we need your soul
This film is one of the most ambitious and challenging ones to create since it has the cultural elements of Indonesia. Things we require from your donation include (but not limited to):
- Indonesian antiques and props (shipped from Indonesia)
- Location with a big living room area and a room for the ritual room
- Final output done in high-quality
- Paying professional filmmakers to give you the highest quality for your cinematic experience
- Special effects makeup for the gore-y aspects of the film
- Marketing this film to film festivals all around the world
