My name is Hanuman Dass and I wish to introduce you to the Dharmic temple School project. Myself and our team at Go Dharmic believes that serving the poor is the best way to serve God.
Educating young village children is one of the best ways we can do this most effectively, so, our plan is to build a small primary school in a poor part of India which fulfills this ambition.
Help us to raise the funds required to build this place of service and join us in our efforts to demonstrate the ideal that serving humanity is serving God.
What We Need & What You Get

All of the funds donated will go 100% towards the temple project and launching the school for the underprivileged. There will be full transparency of the spending provided on our website www.godharmic.com
In the Ancient Hindu scripture the Ramayana, Hanuman meets Rama distressed in a forest with no possessions and his wife kidnapped. Hanuman serves Rama with full devotion. In the same way Hanuman served Rama in the time of need, we seek to serve the needy as non other than God.
This is (as far as we know!) the worlds first Temple school funded largely by online crowd sourcing. It will truly be a wonderful and noble expression of the power of social media to do good in the world!
The Impact
We want this project to make a high impact difference to peoples lives. But we want it all to be in God's name. Many people say there are too many temples, but we believe if temples were like this then there could never be enough. Inspired by Neem Karoli Baba's simple but profound message, "Love everybody, serve everybody, remember God", we hope hope to make this temple come school a living expression of compassion and love.
- This is our chance to collectively practise the philosophy of Hinduism which says that God exists in all.
- Education is one of the best ways to improve the quality of opportunity and living for the underprivileged.
- We have over 100,000 people on our Go Dharmic community lists and want to inspire as many people as possible to join our team.
Risks & Challenges
WIth any project like this there are risks and hurdles which we will encounter. This could be not raising enough funds, finding the right teacher at the school, but we will study every possible outcome and act with full responsibility and diligence, and as Swami Vivekananda said, 'do not stop until the goal is reached'.
