We Want You in our Bunker

BUNKER is a classic tale of boy meets girl set against the backdrop of the Robot Apocalypse — with a few twists thrown in for good measure. Written and directed by Ned Ehrbar (Co-op of the Damned), BUNKER will mash up the sci-fi and rom-com genres into something altogether new, delightful and unique.
BUNKER proves that not even the threat of evil robot killing machines can thwart the human impulse to flirt.
With a projected start date in early May for principle photography, the BUNKER team is already hard at work designing a brand-new look at a robot-dominated future. We've got a stellar cast, includiing Jordan Hinson, Tyler Dawson, Paul Telfer and Ryan Patrick McGuffey. Plus, we've got that German shepherd, Jack.
BUNKER is nothing if not ambitious, with some awesome visual effects and physical sets planned, and while we've found the absolutely lowest-cost way to do it, it's still a long way from free. And that's where you come in.
You can play a vital role in bringing this clever, original and engaging short film to life with just a few spare dollars. And the more you donate, the higher the final quality.
Upon completion, BUNKER will go out to a carefully curated list of film festivals around the world, and it's all a much brighter future from there.
Needs and Wants and Perks
While we're turning to the power of the internet for the bulk of our fundraising efforts, this isn't all we're doing. We're hosting a series of events in Los Angeles and New York to bolster our budget. We kicked things off already with the Bunker Buster Fundraising Bash in late March, delighting an Echo Park audience with music, punch and carousing, and that's just the beginning. The month's worth of events don't just raise vital funds — they also serve as valuable awareness-raisers, building an audience for BUNKER before a single frame has even been filmed.
Parties aside, we're also seeking other sources of income via investors and executive producers as well as sponsors and in-kind donations. Plus we're doing everything we can to stretch every last dollar we bring in. But Indiegogo is the centerpiece — and you our lifeline.
To make it a bit more worth your while, we're offering as wide a variety of perks as we can muster, from fun promo-filled prize packs to a lavish tropical vacation. We're confident there's a donation level and corresponding perk that's right for you! For instance, five awesome $150-level donors get the chance to own an original TOBY Robot Satan comic by New Yorker cartoonist Corey Pandolph. Hooray evil robots!

If we don't reach our goal, we will do our best to make up the difference and deliver the film as promised to those that are generous enough to donate. But the robot apocalypse might just have fewer actual robots terrorizing the landscape.
