Our Goal
We are working to raise money to upgrade a library in the small rural village of Gwaragwara, Uganda. As technology improves, we realize the importance of teaching the children in Gwaragwara how to use computers, and that's why we are using a portion of the money raised for computers, and solar panels to power them. Through this, we can provide a chance for the children of Gwaragwara to better their future, and learn skills all children deserve.

Our Legacy
IGS has already made a difference in the lives of the people of Gwaragwara. A few years ago, we raised enough money to build a small library. The outcome was greater than we could have ever imagined, with children coming from kilometres away to use the library. The success was so great that there was often a long line at the door waiting to get in (pictured below). That's why we believe it is important to expand the library, and add computers, and books.

Gwaragwara is a very small, and underprivileged community full of enthusiastic learners and friendly people. All of these very grateful people deserve to have the chance to learn as we do here in Canada. Every penny donated will go directly towards the library.
