New Stretch Goal: $2,000 

We have bought Caesar's airline ticket! He will be on Cape Cod from September 5th to September 16. The ticket was a bit more expensive than we had thought ($1,367.47). We also would like to pay for the bag fees for Caesar's board bag, which will probably be $600. Therefore, we have set a new stretch goal of $2,000. Any additional donations are highly appreciated!

Our Goal: An Airplane Ticket For Caesar

On September 13 and 14, 2014, we will have the East Coast Windsurfing Festival (ECWF) on Cape Cod where people meet for freestyle and racing competitions. Our main objective is to get windsurfers together and have fun. One way to do this is to have amazing windsurfers showcase their skills during the event. Here is where Caesar Finies comes into play. Growing up on Bonaire in the Caribbean, he is one of the best light wind freestylers in the world. His mission is to show others how much fun windsurfing can be. We would love to be able to invite him to Cape Cod for the upcoming event - please help us pay for his plane ticket to get him there!

Enabling Caesar to travel to the USA helps him to spread the windsurfing stoke and enables other windsurfers to experience his passion. 

Fun events like the ECWF make it possible to build a windsurfing community and learn from each other. Please donate to help us include Caesar in this adventure.

What Is The Money For?

The goal of this campaign is to pay for Caesar's travel expenses. We are looking at air fare from Bonaire to Boston and back, including a board bag. We originally had set a goal of $1200 based on estimated air fares. We have now purchased the ticket, which cost $1367.50. We would also like to pay the cost of transporting Caesar's board bag, which we estimate to be $600. Overall, we would need to raise $2,000 to cover the airline ticket and board bag costs.

Caesar will be staying with us, so we do not need funds for lodging. 

Who We Are

We are people who love to windsurf! We want to spread the stoke and get people out there.  We have formed the East Coast Windsurfing Association (ECWA) to organize the East Coast Windsurfing Festivals and so that we can offer windsurf lessons. Getting Caesar, a world class windsurfer, to join us at the ECWF Cape Cod would be awesome.
