On September 23-25, 2016, 450 performance activists from all over the world will come together in New York for the 9th Performing The World (PTW) conference to celebrate and develop the power of performance as a means of individual, community and world transformation. 

Why We Need Your Help

We want the conference to be radically inclusive -- to make it possible for people from very different disciplines, countries and circumstances to participate -- and this is why we need your help. Once people arrive in NYC, hundreds of local New Yorkers are opening their homes to anyone who needs it. But they need to get here! Your donation will go towards paying airfare for the people who are struggling to get to Performing The World.

Right now, performance activists in South America, Asia, and Africa are working hard to raise funds to get to PTW and any donation to this campaign will go towards paying for their airplane tickets. Your donation will make a huge difference to them!

Your donation on Indiegogo will be processed by FirstGiving and sent to the non-profit East Side Institute who organizes the Performing The World conference. (The Institute is an international educational, training and research center for developing and promoting alternative and radically humanistic approaches in psychology, therapy, education and community building.) When you contribute you will receive an email from FirstGiving, confirming the tax-deductible status of your contribution.
