Hi! My name is Samer Mrehin and I am the Executive Producer/writer of L.A. OCTANE. As an alumni of LA Film School, and working in the film industry, I know how hard it is to get films off the ground. I have directed one feature and two shorts, and I can safely say that financing was by far the most difficult part of every project. That's why I'm launching this campaign. LA OCTANE is a high adrenaline, relentless acton film. Produced written by me a lover of high adrenaline action films. I want to change the way we have viewed action films, and place the audience right dead center of the chaos. If you love chase scenes, guns, strong female characters, or action films in general, then you're in the right place.

In terms of why my crew and I started this Indiegogo page, it's simple. As film student graduates, we don't have a lot of money to make our visions come to life. This is our first time reaching out to the Indiegogo community and try to raise money for SAG actors, equipment, location, crew, and stunts. Because we are making an action film, the props and stunts are integral to creating a vibrant gritty hard intense POV style interactive world. And for your contributions, we have several fun perks listed on our page!

I know there are so many projects you can donate to, but we would feel very honored if it was ours. There are not enough films produced with a new take on a genre like ours, and with strong willed female characters. Also your contribution would help to change the way audiences view action films.
