Ron Davis' Symphronica, Daniela Nardi's Espresso Manifesto and Great Canadian Poets at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe!
Hey There! Thanks for checking out our campaign. So here's the scoop:My name is Ron Davis, Toronto-based jazz pianist-composer and leader of classical-jazz-world-pop fusion ensemble Symphronica. Along with my partner in crime, singer-songwriter and creator of Espresso Manifesto, Daniela Nardi, and an acclaimed collective of Canadian poets called 'The Shaken and the Stirred' featuring Jeanette Lynes, Ian Burgham and Catherine Graham: we have all been invited by The Scottish Arts Club to perform at the world's largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe! We are being presented as a spotlight on Canadian Arts. We are booked to perform six one-hour shows between August 11 and August 21 and this is the first time in its history that the Scottish Arts Club has invited a Canadian collective to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe. Needless to say, this is such a huge honour for us!
As soon as we were asked to perform at Edinburgh, we said a resounding YES! How could we turn it down? Shortly thereafter, we realized this is quite an endeavour, and in order to do it right, we'll need a little help from our friends.
