The Story

The character Giuseppe McTulip, aka Hoagie, is inspired by stand-up comedian Joe DeRosa.

Hoagie also features characters inspired by Ari Shaffir, Bobby Kelly, Kurt Braunohler, and more!

And yes! We have their permission!

Hoagie is a 144-page graphic novel filled with bloody murder and tasty sandwiches...

Art & coloring by Debora Lancianese, lettering by Rob Jones, and written by Gage Giunta. Your contributions will help us finish the rest of the novel! We can only make this possible with your much appreciated help!

The Team

Debora Lancianese (artist & colorer) was born in Italy in 1996, where she graduated from an art school. After that, she continued her studies at the International School of Comics and has since been working as a freelance artist for indie and private publishers. Rob Jones (letterer) is a freelance, UK-based award nominated writer and award winning letterer of comic books.
