After saving Earth, the Gorkian Luma is cloned and returns to Earth to find his human girlfriend Patty. When the Gorkian Supreme Leader discovers Luma is missing, he sends a clone of his most feared warrior Quasar, along with two warriors, to Earth to track Luma down and destroy him. Unknown to Quasar, a more terrifying creature is about to be released on Earth.

This is our third feature film to be filmed in 2023 and it will be released in 2023. Acrostar Films has a proven track record of delivering quality films with original stories, many available on our Youtube channel, Tubi and Amazon Prime Video. In 2023 we filmed and released horror romance feature film Desperate Souls, have filmed and are nearly finished with post production for feature film Attack of the Corn Zombies, filmed and will release They Came Back from Somewhere, and we will film one more unannounced feature film in November 2023.

They Came Back from Somewhere is a sequel to award-winning It Came from Somewhere.
We'll pick up where we left off and continue the saga of the aliens who terminate without restrictions, the townspeople who live in fear of the return of these aliens, and a new creature - will they succeed in destroying the earth? We've also got more aliens and Secret Agents, we think you'll love the new characters!
Created in the style of Ed Wood and Roger Corman, They Came Back from Somewhere is a new, original feature length horror film that looks like it was created in the 1950s. Delivered in black & white, 4x3 aspect ratio, made to look dated. This film really leans into the 1950s acting style, so very over-the-top!
You’ve probably seen these types of films: Plan 9 from Outer Space, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, Not of this Earth. Or perhaps you enjoy Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) calling out these movies for their cheesy monsters, convoluted dialogue, technical errors and plot inconsistencies. We've got a new story with some new characters. Of course spaceship technology has advanced (only slightly) since filming the original film, so you will see some new props. And we have background extra actors and classic cars, along with locations that remain faithful to the 1950s era. We know what was most loved about the original film, so we are keeping those elements and have built a new story around all these elements. We had so much fun making this film and can't wait to have you become part of it!
