Our Story
House of Bad is a supernatural heist film- three sisters filled with desperate hopes for a better life steal a suitcase full of heroin from the middle girl's drug dealer boyfriend, and plan to lay low in their remote childhood home for a few weeks until the heat dies down and they can sell it. Unfortunately as the days go by the terrible things that happened in the house begin to manifest themselves once again, turning the girls against each other and finally pushing them to the brink.
The film will be shot May 23-28, 2011, directed by Jim Towns and produced by Scott Frazelle, both of whom share a wealth of film making experience. We are blessed with three talented and attractive actresses that are committed to bringing the three lead characters to life in a compelling and engaging way.
What We Need & What You Get
We have most of our budget in place, but we're looking for just a little more to ensure that we can realize our vision- making sure we have the wardrobe, lighting and permits we need to ensure the best possible quality for the film- we think it deserves it. So we're looking for roughly another $500- $1,500 to guarantee that. Everybody's been working very hard to get this project going, we just need a little more help.
We have a variety of ways of saying thank you for your generosity... first off anyone donating with receive a special thank you in the credits of the film... anyone donating over $50 will be invited to the Hollywood Premiere of the film. Over $150 gets you a VIP invite to the Premiere AND a co-producer credit. Over $250 gets an invite to a private cast & crew-only pre-screening of the film, along with producer credit and VIP invite to the Premiere.
And anyone donating over $500 will get an Executive Producer credit and be a partner in the film's release.
