"I" is a dramatic film mini-series delving into real stories of trauma and the fight our Heros undertake to overcome their inner demons. Join our exciting ride as we tell the ultimate, timeless tale of the battle between light and darkness in new and never before seen ways!
Synopsis: With one last glance at the mirror on date night, MB hears an old, familiar voice. In a matter of seconds, the voice coming from her own mind manifests as her inner nemesis, the SheDevil, and traps her in a shameful room of mirrors. Will MB find her way out of this personal Hell before the darkness consumes her life?

Though pains from our past or fears of our future may plague us, when it comes down to it, we each have the power to choose who controls the volume dial- our Authentic Self or the destructive Inner Critic. The accessible strength of resilience is different for everyone, but the potential for such strength in each of us is the same- and it can only, ultimately, come from within. This is our central theme. Our message: You Are Not Alone and by sharing our stories, we hope you feel you can share yours and begin the path to true healing.

It is our hope that this film and future episodes will touch the lives of those suffering from trauma, painful memories, and afflictions. That it will open the eyes of those who love them to what they cannot see from the outside. So that compassion and love can overtake fear and suppression. We can already see this happening through our connected social media movements, and we know we can amplify that impact through this.

Through the theatrics of this film, our artists get to play with dreamlike sequences. Out of innocence and presumed safety, we are sucked down the rabbit hole of MB's self- destructive thoughts as flashbacks of her traumatic childhood flood the screen. Trumbling into a spinning room of mirrors opposite MB's SheDevil, we root for her to find her footing and claim victory in battling her demon. The fear is visceral, breath- clenching, and we know MB's life and freedom from her past are at stake. As she reaches deep within herself for truth and resilience, we discover a path that can be taken to healing for MB and for all of us.
Our Ultimate, Ultimate Goal!
We plan to submit this series, in part or in whole, to festivals around the globe. We will screen it, license it, and donate it to eating disorder units, addiction units, PTSD clinics (including Veterans Affairs locations), and in sexual abuse and battered women's shelters. "I" the Series will be offered as an ice- breaker in after-school, mental health, and wellness education programs. Pulling people into experiences of the imagination through relatable films opens up our hearts to share more of ourselves and partake in healing conversations. When we discover that we are not alone, we begin to believe that change is possible. And where change feels possible, so does hope.

Proven Success
Just last year, we ran a successful Indiegogo campaign for Allergy Actress Cooking, a light-hearted series based on preparing allergy- friendly recipes. That campaign gave life to over 15 cooking videos now distributed by TV Tibi, Akyumen TV, and YouTube! You can enjoy that series here! Meanwhile, our cinematographer, director, assistant director,and producer also completed several separate independent projects last year. Collectively, we are workhorses who enjoy churning out quality work on a regular basis. We are confident this campaign will breathe life into our next vision, affecting change and promoting wellness in this exciting, dramatic, and visually gripping film.
Risks & Challenges
We realize this is a big undertaking. Our team has done everything we can to minimize our costs while maintaining quality product and paying our cast and crew fairly (at reduced rates, actually!). The budget you see above is our complete transparency- something that is important to us to share with you, as you are supporting our vision. And we've proven through past projects that we can and do deliver. Mary Beth is an actress, V/O artist, musician, and the creator of "I." Before moving into film and TV, Mary Beth had a career as a professional opera/ musical theater singer performing in theaters around the world! The script for Episode 1 came from her own life, and she feels called to share her story with others.

With a background in financial management and film, Elle found her perfect blend of both math and art worlds in production. She is currently in UCLA’s Producer program, and this is her fourth production. She aims to leverage the "I" media package as a vehicle for social change, grief support, recovery, and education.
Elle can also currently be seen onscreen as Deborah in the widely popular Lionsgate/ Youtube sensation ‘Chicken Girls,’ earning 100 million+ views and Babble by Disney’s newest web series, 'Midnight Moms' Club.’
