IMMORTAL
The year is 1204 - the 4th Crusade. Two brothers, Marcus and Alexander, uncover a myth in the depths of Constantinople. What seems like a mere coincidence develops into an all out war of good versus evil.
When Marcus is bitten by a monstrous creature and transforms into the beast itself, he is forced to flee. Since the bond between the brothers is so overpowering, Alexander will stop at nothing and risk everything in order to bring his brother back into the light.
A dark truth waits to be discovered regarding their father's death, and Marcus and Alexander become entangled in a battle of life or death. Once discovered, the secret will change their lives forever.
Why The Campaign
I believe in family. I wanted to do something unique and make my family proud, so I wrote a book focusing on a brother's bond.
A family's bond is strong - stronger than anything. A father protecting his daughter, a mother caring for her young, a brother standing up for his sibling, and a sister advising her's. Protection, care, wisdom, and love. That's what makes up a family and that's what makes the bond so powerful. Family is the most important aspect in life.
There are so many broken families nowadays, children who never got the opportunity to meet their father or mother. They feel alone in this great big world, they feel abandoned, forgotten. Which often pushes them away from the family they have and end up traveling down a dark, wicked path.
We all face challenges in life, but when we do face these challenges; it's our decision on what path we choose. Will we press on through the fog and reach our goal or turn back and give up?
Life is never simple enough to just choose a yes or no option, we often choose to take a leap of faith, but why not turn to family? They want what's best for you and they love you. They are the greatest guidance you can receive.
The world needs to know how strong a family's bond can be for one another and that no one is alone in this world.

Meet the Author
Hi, I'm Tim Routledge. I'm an author from Chicago, Illinois and I've spent a lot of my life traveling to new places. I've been all around the country - I love learning the history of each new place I visit, as well as enjoying the scenery.
I'm 22 years old and I love writing stories. Stories full of exciting action between heroes and villains. The classic good versus evil. Immortal is a new and engaging story that focuses on relationships between likable characters having to endure trials which will either make or break them.
I am very knowledgeable in history - world, U.S., mythology, etc.. With all my traveling and interest in history, I've created an imaginative new story where two brothers find that they have been living in a world where the supernatural exists.
This story is more than just another story. This story is about family. Two brothers, who had lost both parents, out on their own. These brothers are extremely close and will risk their lives for each other without hesitation.
I based the main character's personality off my own: Alexander, the younger brother. There are also a few similarities between my brother and Alexander's brother, Marcus. But the brother's bond throughout the book is exactly like the bond I share with my brother.
This isn't just another book. It's my life. At least it's my life if it took place in the 13th century and there were mythological creatures roaming about, but that's where my imagination kicks in.
The Goal
The goal is to raise enough money to have this book edited and published on kindle/ebook and softcover for the world to read. It would be a dream come true for me to see this book on the shelves.
What Your Money Will Pay For
$2,900 - Proofreading and line editing through CreateSpace (An Amazon.com Company)
$300 - Published through CreateSpace as a softcover print and an ebook.
I know my goal is set at $2,000, but after contacting CreateSpace - I've decided to go through them to have the book edited instead of the independent author through Fiverr.com.
Total to have IMMORTAL published - $3,200.
Excerpt From Immortal
"I hesitate to aid any man in becoming immortal, because it is rare that it ends well." Jal said this with an unmistakable bitterness in his tone.
"Risk, pain, and daunting tasks I must go through to achieve immortality pale in comparison to what my brother would have to face alone the remainder of his days, Jal." Alexander replied, confidently.
