Short Summary
My name is Agatas Katkus, I was born in Lithuania and my family immigrated to Colorado when I was about 5. From the moment I could, I was always creating and building things. I have always had visions in my head for what something should look like and the idea for infinity bandz came to me when I broke my cheap pair of sunglasses. I found a rubber band in my car and wrapped it around the top of my lens in the shape of an infinity symbol and it held them together.
During my first 2 years of college, I wrote a business plan and dialed in what I wanted the product to be. Then proceeded to learn how to 3d model and print. I then learned how to cast and mold using silicon. After experimenting with models and silicon materials I finally got something that wrapped around and looked half decent. My issue is that in order to get the product to its final form I need help from a prototype company that knows way more than I could even imagine.
What We Need & What You Get
I am asking for fifty thousand dollars and all the funding I'm asking for will go to getting a perfect final product made with the ability to be mass-produced. The bulk of the money will go towards making a mold for mass production.
Once the final infinity band form is reached. The customization portion will be easy to adapt with different colors and lettering.
Even if the full amount isn't reached every cent will go into getting a final product made.
Risks & Challenges
The biggest hurdle that I can foresee is that this is something completely different. People will have to understand what it is and how to use it.
Once it's out in the world and people understand it. I truly believe people will seek them out as they are different and a whole new type of fashion accessory.
