NEW FUNDRAISER

New Indiegogo Fundraiser Huge thanks to everyone that supported this fundraiser.  As I said, I'm going to throw in some awesome stuff to boot to make it worth your while.  Since we only have five hours to go I've set up a whole new fundraiser at the link above.  Hopefully, the keywords, will also help attract more attention.  There are different perks this time out and I've tried hard to make sure they still remain fair to the ones on this campaign, by doing some new ideas.  I think I'll make that happen also by some of the stuff I'm adding to the contributors on this one.

The Story

Holly has survived the tramatic experience of seeing most of her friends murdered as the rosebud serial killer has closed in on her.  Now that it's been a year since his body was last seen being loading into an ambulance and having suffered a great number of stab wounds, she has begun finding signs that she might have not seen the last of him.  This psychological thriller follows her through her journey to find closure as the body count begins to rise once again.  

 
The Cast

Corey Feldman (Goonies, Stand By Me, Lost Boys, Gremlins) joins the cast for the large supporting role of Trent.  Feldman comes on board for one of his most dramatic roles in recent years.  With Intrusion:Disconnected being such an intense and character-driven story, we're excited to have the very talented Feldman as one of the driving points of the film.

Tiffany Shepis (The Frankenstein Syndrome, The Violent Kind) fuels both the dramatic dialogue and suspense with her engaging emotional acting skills, making one of the scariest scenes in the script that much more surreal.

Katie Stewart (Intrusion, Overtime) plays heroine, Holly Jensen.  Over the years, some of the most classic horror films of all time have been with smart, strong female leads.  Stewart, who has starred in over hundred films, television specials, commercials and music videos, proves that she has what it takes to bring one of the scariest films of the decade to a terrifying reality.

Amanda Dunn (Catching Fire, Pennhurst) plays the strong-willed, smart, Zoe'.  Dunn who has worked alongside Michael Rooker, Jennifer Lawrence and Woody Harrelson proves she's another amazing addition to the cast of Intrusion:Disconnected.  

Why do we need the help?

We're currently on the last shoot of our production, but it has been a long and expensive road (yet, incredibly rewarding).  So far, all of the film has been funded through the help of volunteers, in-kind donations and largely the pockets of our award-winning writer-producer. Unfortunately, filmmaking is not cheap.  So, we're turning to you, our fans for help and support.

But we hope you realize that with great sacrifice comes great reward.  For your donation (no matter how large) you become part of this project.  So, welcome to the team!!

Where does the $ go?

Great question!  As we said before, filmmaking is very expensive stuff, but if we're on our last shoot, what else could we need the mulla for?

-Special Effects.  We have a big scene still to shoot that is going to require a body cast (yeah, we're going to get a little gory).  The makeup, silicone and other things that go with the effects are a bit on the costly side.

-Production Crew. All of the crew on this project are creative professionals in their area of expertise. A lot of people have donated their time to this project in the hopes that it will be groundbreaking for its uniqe script and stylistic approach. 

-Casting. We have some high caliber stars where flight/travel expenses are needed.  Those include Corey Feldman (Goonies, Lost Boys), Tiffany Shepis (The Violent Kind, Frankenstein Syndrome) and Amanda Dunn (Catching Fire, Michael Rooker's Pennhurst).

-Crafty/Catering.  Because we understand how hard it is to focus and make great movies on an empty stomach.

-Incidentals.  Those last minute things that we totally have forgotten about, but will still cost money and have to be taken care of.  

Lucky for you, we've gotten a good portion of the film in the can already.  So, you get a good peak at what we have up our sleeves and the look of the film you're contributing to!!  We promise, the rest will be just as good, if not better with your help!!
