Short Summary
My name is Sheila Evans, Artistic Director of Walktall Productions. I am also the writer and Director of the film ‘Jacqueline’. I have many years’ experience as a theatre actress, who became a script writer and film maker late in life. However I learnt very quickly about this industry and intend to make the most of any creative talent I possess.
My first feature film, which I wrote, screenplayed and produced was Vodka and Chips. It won an award at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and also won Best Feature Film at Worcestershire Film Festival 2015.
Since then I have made several shorts, the most recent, 'The Legend of Dark House’ is currently being entered into several film festivals. These films have been funded by myself with virtually no budget. I have also written scripts for three more feature films, which I intend to produce in the future.
The reason I am requesting your help, is to build a team of professional film practitioners, particularly in the area of camera, lighting and sound. These talented technicians earn their living from film-making and therefore need to be paid accordingly.
Experienced, professional actors are already on board to portray the complex characters, therefore I am determined to do my utmost to treat them with the respect they deserve. Hence my request to recompense them for their time, their expenses and their subsistence needs.
Filming days are usually quite long. They say an army marches on its stomach. Likewise so does a film crew, therefore regular infusions of tea, coffee and nourishing food are essential.
We will be grateful for whatever amount is reeived but if we are lucky enough to achieve our goal of £3000, the project will cease to be a dream and become a first class film, well worth watching.
Over time hundreds of books have been written on the subject of the Whitechapel Ripper and as yet his identity still remains a mystery...or does it? This film may shed light on a very different scenario.
