Jelly Snakes – About the Project
Jelly Snakes is a feature length coming-of-age comedy about a 16-year old Brian Eno enthusiast, who tries to escape his dysfunctional family life, by listening to Eno, making his ‘sound sculptures’ and attempting to seduce a 35-yr-old mother-of-two who lives next door.
Jelly Snakes will be written and directed by filmmaker and artist Simon Green and produced by Jude Goldrei, and is one of eight projects selected from around the world by the prestigious Binger Writers and Producers FilmLab 2013 www.binger.nl

How You Can Get Involved
We are extremely lucky to have been selected for the Binger FilmLab, and we are looking for extra support to attend. We will spend 4 months developing the idea with the help of international film industry professionals, and our goal is to end up with and really great script we can get financed.
We would love you to get involved by supporting Simon and Jude to be out there developing the script. We have raised some money from Creative England and Skillset to help pay for the Lab’s fees, we are putting in £5,000 ourselves, but we are still £5,000 short. By supporting us, your money will help us to get to Amsterdam, work full time on the Lab’s intense programme developing the script, and come out with a strong project and contacts. This will help to propel us onto the next stage to finance the script. In return we would like to offer you limited edition copies of a variety of work from Simon’s back catalogue, and we will keep you updated on the project's progress. If we get the film financed, we will keep you involved by updating you, thanking you on the film’s credit and inviting you to a preview screening.
Make A Difference
Your contribution will enable us to focus on the project, make European contacts, generate interest, and enhance the possibilities for getting this project off the ground. Simon Green has a unique and distinctive filmmaking voice, unlike others emerging from the UK. Support for us to attend the Binger FilmLab will help us to move towards making our first feature film and bring Simon's amazing world and story to life.
