ABOUT JINX

A haunting Polish American drama that follows a superstitious young woman’s descent down a dark path of obsession and paranoia. As her world becomes increasingly riddled with omens of good and bad fortune, she struggles to confront the terrifying implications of her psychologically taxing beliefs and their fatal consequences. What ensues is a harrowing confrontation with the limits of reality and the edges of sanity.

We want to respect our crew and their artistry by paying them decent rates that they deserve for their time, energy, and effort.

Equipment rentals are expensive! This covers everything we need in order to capture unique and challenging visuals that make our story come to life

CREW SAFETY

Our crew's safety is important. We made room in the budget to feed the crew, cover late night travel, and on set safety expenses. 

LOCATIONS

A great location is instrumental to a great film. For the story to feel authentic and true, we scouted dozens of potential places and need your help to secure our dream set. 

INSURANCE

In order to protect ourselves, our crew, the location, and the equipment, production insurance is required. Due to the nature of this being short term insurance, the prices tend to be higher.

POST PRODUCTION

After production, comes the editing, coloring, sound mixing, score – elements that make the film truly come together. We want to achieve a certain tone and atmosphere which is only possible if we invest a large portion of our budget in post production.

Not only do we have the skills and expertise to bring this story to life, but we also have a personal connection to the material that makes this project truly special. I am excited to showcase a Polish American narrative that is near and dear to my heart. The horror of this multilingual movie transcends continents, generations, and language barriers.
