Synopsis
Emily (17), a high school senior who recently loss her mother in an unusual manner, finds comfort and strength in her new found Christian Faith.
Her father and sister however, are not doing well. Allison, Emily’s sister, discovers a cursed necklace that her mother has kept locked in a box in their basement and unknowingly unleashes a vengeful demon who is bent on payback from the family. Trying to recover from the loss of her mother, Allison seeks comfort by going out with her on-and-off-again jerk of a boyfriend, only to unleash the fury of the demon at the first party she goes to.
Emily becomes aware of the evil that has taken over her sister and seeking to discover the identity of the demon looks to her mother’s past. In her search for answers, Emily discovers a photo from among her mother’s belongings that leads her to her mother’s old friend Silvia.
It is Silvia, who tells Emily about how she and Emily’s mother were a part of a witch coven and that it was her mother who imprisoned the spirit and hoped that no one would ever free the evil spirit. She tells Emily that she inherited her mother’s abilities and that she must imprison the spirit again if she hopes to save her family.
As the vengeful demon seeks the ultimate destruction of Emily’s family, Silvia arrives to help Emily use her faith and abilities to overcome the evil spirit.
Our Key Crew:
Victor H. Arenas, Producer: Known as a Jack-of-All-Trades, Victor trained in all areas of Mass Communications, beginning in Publishing and Marketing with Alba House Communications, as a sound engineer, radio host and producer for CTNY and WKTL in Youngstown, Ohio. He went on to develop his craft on television and film with Alba House & ETC Television. He is the former Executive Producer for Amat Productions, the CEO of El Molino Pictures and has taught courses in video productions. He has worked on many projects with Boomer Productions. A former school administrator & business manager he has many years of experience in budgeting, fundraising & marketing. He is the recipient of many professional awards and earned a MSEd from St. John’s University.
Andrew Boomer, Director: Jay is the founder and president of Boomer Productions Entertainment with over 6 years working in television and film. He earned a Bachelors in Cinematic Arts from Azusa Pacific University. He wrote and Director the short “Law Breakers Dozen,” A Boomer Productions Entertainment film. He also directed the short film “Night Swim” and was the sound engineer and Foley artists for the award winning film “Mama’s Boy.” Boomer has worked for the Texas Longhorn Network- ESPN affiliate, working in pre-production for WWE Studios and in post-production for Siren Digital in Hollywood (non-linear editor and in the designing of credits).
Eric Parra, Screenplay Writer: Eric is a graduate of the USC Cinematic Arts Division of Writing for Screen and Television. He has previously worked with Boomer Productions Entertainment as the screenwriter for the short film “Law Breakers Dozen,” with Andrew Boomer. Eric worked in pre-production and as a script reader for Dark Horse Entertainment. He was an Executive Producer for Trojan Vision Broadcasting, and worked for Disney in Southern California. He has written many Shorts and has had an enthusiasm for entertainment from a young age.
Lucas Acosta, Cinematographer: Lucas is the President of LAA Films. He also works as the Video Editor for Logdotzip, Inc. and is the videographer for Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival. He also worked as a videographer/photographer for the Walt Disney Company and was the head videographer for Scare LA. Lucas was nominated for "Best Introductory Scene" in a Haunted Attraction. He was the cinematographer for the short film "Law Breakers Dozen" a Boomer Productions Entertainment film and the editor for "Into the Black" Commercial 2017, and for "Night Swim."
Marketing
Our websites www.kinofsinmovie.com and www.kinofsin.com was designed specifically to build an e-mail database to keep our fans up to date with the production. During the shoot we intend to upload videos and photos from the set to create an increased expectation.
We are currently building an audience for our film by creating a fan base on Facebook starting with over 1,000, YouTube starting with over 1,000; Instagram and Twitter staring with over 500 that will include live tweets from actors and the directors.
Distribution
We plan to release the film to various national and international film festivals as a way to reach an extended audience and build recognition for the film.
