The Asheville Butoh Collective, are co-presenting two performances scheduled at The RAMP Gallery in Asheville’s River Arts District. Additionally, in the fall of 2018, ABC and ACDT will present the 12th Asheville Butoh Festival. Seisaku and Yuri Nagaoko are coming from Tokyo!

What we need - what you get
Every single dollar brings us closer to our $3,000 goal with all contributions going straight into the production costs. These costs include: music commissions and set design fees, construction materials, lighting and seat rental, costumes, props, as well as administration and publicity costs. We are working hard to raise the money needed to produce a wonderful spring show and fall festival through local grants and in-kind donations. Risks & Challenges
By undertaking such a large scale production in an alternative space, we have some special challenges. We will need to load in lights, sound systems, and set up chairs for the audience. All of these things are additional expenses but are also of the utmost importance to the professional level of the production. With the many new collaborations in music, set design, and digital media we will need extra support this year. There are always surprises along the way but with such a seasoned and experienced group of artists and administrators, we can easily overcome any obstacles.
