Hi Everyone!

My name is Kiana Thienkim Nguyen and I am the former director of Bistro #1, coming to you now, with my new film Ladies and Gentlemen! It’s great to be back in pre-production and to continue this journey as a story-teller.

My film Ladies and Gentlemen explores the up-and-coming experience of Xochitl and their early journey of being non-binary. Themes of non-binary as a singular experience will be explored as well as discussions of chest dysphoria, body dysmorphia and depersonalization from one’s gender and body.

As a non-binary filmmaker myself, I feel that it is so important to talk about the queer experiences and specifically  POC queer experiences. There is undoubtedly a lack of representation on screen and behind and while, it is not my job nor an obligation to tell these stories , but it is an honor to be able to share these stories and some of my own.

With that being said, there’s a lot that goes into making a film, and as an independent filmmaker, funding is the most challenging part! However, with your help, we’re able to  hopefully reach our goals and support the cast and crew in whatever they need. Your donation will directly go towards feeding our crew and cast, rentals, gas/transportation costs, rainy days, and any other compensation! And with every donation, there comes a perk! Like i said, Anything helps and everything is appreciated! And of course, if you are unable to donate that is perfectly okay, even spreading the word helps! A repost, a share, word of mouth! Truly anything helps!

I love you all and I hope to see you guys soon!
