It is 1940, the German army are finalising their total military occupancy of France. Pockets of resistance are the last hope for many people. We find ourselves inside the remains of an abandoned building in the heart of France; we hear the sounds of war outside and the march of soldiers. Jean, a young French resistance fighter, lies against the wall in the corner of an abandoned room. He is motionless until his body jolts and coughs violently from his injuries.
Outside we hear one of the soldier’s attempts to break into the house. Jeans life is in danger but will he survive?
Characters
Jean
Days have slipped by since the city broke into chaos. Much like the French resistance, Jean is reaching his breaking point as the Nazis occupation finalizes its grip on France. Jean now finds himself in a bitter fight to protect his home and country, or make his final stand.
When Jean saw the Nazis troops outside his watch point, he opened fire. Now injured, he lies in wait, unsure if this will be his final moments.

The Soldier
Another soldier simply going through the motions for his country. Like many in his group he is tired with hopes to return home to the family he misses dearly.
As he and his fire-team turned onto a new street, a flurry of bullets ripped through them, wounding one and killing a friend. In a burst of anger he dashed into the building ahead, moving in to ensure another life is not lost.

Death
An entity like no other, never ageing, she resides in the waiting lands of Purgatory.
She appears to the soldiers young and beautiful but only those about to pass on will see her in her complete state. We as an audience never see her whole face.

I raised the initial funds for filming the old fashioned way; I scrimped and saved from my job.
Last summer all my saving allowed us to finally film the project. We all had a great time and from what I could see during production we had something potentially very special. However it’s never that simple. As Joel (the Cinematographer) and I looked over the footage back in London we quickly realised that a chunk of the first day was missing. Now that we need to go back it's simply not possible for me financially to do this again.
We need your help to raise funds in order to re-shoot the day we lost and make our project a reality. We are also ensuring that the post production for the project runs smoothly by raising a small portion of funding in this areas as well.
By contributing you enable us to finish our passion project, enjoy the fruits of our work and get on-board all the while earning some amazing perks!

As most people know, creating films isn’t cheap. Now that we need to film again we also need to approach funding in a more logical way then self-induced bankrupting!
This project has brought in a lot of talented people who have agreed to give away their time for a cause they believe in. Not only will funding ensure the project gets made but also to ensure the crew is reimbursed for travel and fed on set. Below is a breakdown of how funding will be be used.
