After a Brief Pause and Reset, We Are Back On Track!
Please join me for a special recording project to celebrate the 20th anniversary of my first album, Not The Tremblin' Kind. We planned to celebrate this anniversary in a unique way - instead of making a traditional album, we're releasing a set of digital singles that will feature some friends, old and new. While we originally planned some travel as part of this project, we're adapting to the new reality we all find ourselves in and will use technology to help bridge what we can't do in person at the moment. What's certain is we're going to make a celebratory noise, one way or another, and would love your support. You'll get new music digitally every 4-6 weeks as it becomes available, and a CD compilation at the end of the process.
What I Need & What You Get
The money I raise through this campaign will pay for recording costs - musicians, studio time, and producer fees - and the production cost of physical copies of the new album once the music is recorded. Through your support, I will be able to record with several different producers and collaborate with some musicians I admire.
Everyone who supports the project will get immediate digital access to each "single" as they are finished and a compilation CD at the end of the project.
If we overshoot our goal, we'd love to press vinyl, here's to dreaming!
Other Ways You Can Help
For those of you who can't contribute, you can still help to get the word out and make some noise about my campaign. That would be a huge help!
Thanks, Laura
