The economy of the future

The economy of the future runs in circles. We believe that true sustainability goes beyond just recycling. Yuma Labs sunglasses last a lifetime, though when they ever meet their end-of-life, we’d like to see them back for recycling.

Each pair comes with a special Send Back Case that will protect your sunglasses day in, day out. When you are ready to recycle your sunglasses, simply fold out the integrated free shipping label and put the case in a mailbox, just like a normal postcard.

We get our precious materials back, you receive a discount on your next purchase and together we keep materials away from landfill. When you have used your glasses for one year you get €15 discount on your next purchase. Do you use them for two years? Then we reward you with a €20 discount!

We consider ourselves a laboratory that designs iconic products that spark the conversation about a circular economy. Yuma Labs was founded with a rebellious spirit to experiment and rethink the way we make and use our everyday products. 

We have made a pledge to work against the stream, come up with disruptive business models and demonstrate that there are ways to build an economy without the need for planned obsolescence or continuous depletion of natural resources. We wish to offer a positive alternative to fast-consumption and slow down ever the accelerating mill of product disposal.

We regularly team up with like-minded companies to build new exciting collaborations.

Where your money goes

With 'Lazlo' we start a new production technique and with it a new important step for our company. All proceeds will go towards increasing the quality of the production, including the purchase of the mould. Support us in this new step please.
